Bit of a Robins performance though - keep it tight first half, try and make sure you're not chasing the game, step it up in the second half when your superior technical play will count against tiring players.

We did have a couple of nice counters first half, but Wales aren't playing to attack - not sure they could even if they wanted to - so it's just wear them down first half.

At the end of the day, it's a knockout tournament from now, so a bit of luck either way can swing it. My aims would be to give France a game and see what happens, and if we do that I'd say last eight in the World Cup with some decent performances is about a par performance. Better if we win, obviously(!) but we're not exactly regulars in going further than that in major tournaments.

Well... apart from when Southgate has been our manager, I suppose...
