Grendel I assume he is talking rubbish. Or are you going to finally admit you were wrong and it does have some bearing when it comes to signing players?

I would say it has some bearing, but only where the wages and length of contract being offered are equal. I can't think of any professional player that would willingly play for less money just because they can play in a nice arena for 35 hours a season.

So true... I had a girl refuse to come home with me once because I was In an orange allegro estate ( it was my brothers ) ... I never ever borrowed it again

Having been born in Coventry and having been a fan since childhood....I can honestly say they wouldn't appeal to me at the moment unless it was the only offer I had.
