Sphinx is a good option imo because its not just them that will benefit from the ground improvements. I have two sisters that play for Cov City girls and they use their pitches aswell and I know that a number of other clubs use the pitches aswell

I think aligning the charity with whomever the club choose would send a strong message back to them. Last year it was zoes place (still might be, i am not sure) but demonstrates that we as fans are willing to work with the club in the community but also sending the message that we are not happy about the current situation.

Chocolate brown scarf please!! :)

For me it has to be a childrens charity preferably local. Zoe's place would be good but another thought I had was whether there was a charity associated with Daniel Pelka? If there was such a charity then the fund raising might have broader appeal?

Got to be red and green imo.

No point in it being sky blue as we need to differentiate between a normal Coventry scarf and a protest one, surely?

Quite.

Some good charity ideas. Think we should put it to a vote on here Nick with a few of the most suggested options. Can help you put something together if needed just PM me.

Could even split between a couple of charities, particularly if the vote is close. Think there is enough interest in these scarves to make it worthwhile I think. Wonder if when we move forward Simon Gilbert can do something to help promote this in the telegraph?
