I didn't see any banners, but to be fair I can't see everywhere.

So what happened then? Was this just a wind up, or is there more to it than that?

I hope you're not passing this resigned apathy on to savo.

Fair enough, appreciate the honesty. I think you at least did your bit - fair play to you for that too.

Isnt it about time the rest of us turned up for 1 game only and did the protest ourselves instead of expecting others to do it. Im in if enough agree to do 1 game only

Of course it wasn't Andreas. Clearly a wum from the first post that I read a few months ago. Probably doesn't even attend the games (anybody remember neo from the 606 site)

Hardly a protest was it. A couple of women holding up a couple of signs.

Power to the people.

Don't you have any idea, where have you been for the last year. People keep moaning that the fans who do go to the cobblers don't protest so we did !!!

I would love for the fans going to the games to hold up WHY?

Wouldn't help the cause much, but would show unity in that all fans want us home!

Did you see Fisher's programme notes last night? They were reading them on CWR before the match, apparently they supported the protest at Arsenal and have been asking the same question 'Why' for months.

And fair play to you. It's a shame that the rest of them there can't be arsed to get off their backsides and do anything to help.

Unless you have changed your username from AndreasB to Jan87, then it is clear from my post that I wasn't referring to you.

Is AndreasB going to have to post a photo of himself holding his man vegetables for people to get his gender?

It's only fair, seeing how Nick insisted on us all providing the same photo when we registered.

I didn't have a photo of AndreasB holding his balls....

Why don't we use the last 'home' game of the season as the next big protest and actually fill Sixfields and do the protests on the 34th and 65th minutes again? Sat 26th April Wolves could be chasing promotion, I'd like to think that TF would be there for the last 'home' game of the season and who knows, maybe JS? Plenty of time to drum up media interest in our plans (perhaps get in touch with BT Sport).

Just a thought, but a good opportunity to protest...

Got to be worth a try, nothing to lose as a one off. Inside or outside, doesn't matter. MichealCCFC seems to have a good following, maybe it's something he needs to consider organising. I would imagine it would have a big uptake, as it includes everybody.

It's about time that this silly myth that the Sixfielders want to be there, is dispelled. They really don't.

Now personally I still think the 'walk out' approach as offered as an option for SHeff Utd is a good one. Regardless, I wouldn;t do these why and when over and over because then it stops being news, makes no impact.

It's had its place worked, and now it needs a different idea.

That's alright.....just point out to them that their shadows move when they do and they'll spend all afternoon staring at the pavement pissing themselves with laughter.....

Sounds good, doesn't it?! We only need to offer visiting fans a % of available gate, so give them when they're entitled to and ensure that we buy the rest. Simples.

I agree with not doing 'Why' and 'When' every game which is why I suggested the last game. Your walk out is good as well. Why not do the 'why' and 'when' on the minutes intended, then mass walk out on the 66th minute or something. Both ideas, one game, double whammy.

My only concern is that it's a little disrespectful to SP and the boys but by that point, we'll hopefully be safely mid-table with nothing to play for. I live on the South Coast but would come up for that one.

wasnt there about 10 threads on protest ideas for the Sheff Utd game and nothing happened ?

walk on the pitch
all leave
sing for 90 mins
tennis balls
stand on a hill
no-one turn up

etc etc

Why cant we just agree to disagree on this and all get behind whatever protest Michael deems appropriate ?
