Actually you are supporting CCFC who are trying to achieve sporting success on the pitch. The team is in Sixfields. Unfortunately, you are also supporting Joy Seppala, who knows nothing about football and is only interested in her family and tax dodging Cayman Isles investors, financially. I understand that this is not your ideal choice and sincerely hope that her appeal is denied and that her best chance of getting a return on her money will be some sort of deal to play at the Ricoh and get the team promoted.

Never meant to make a joke about name of the ground we have been moved too. In fact I'll take it back and call it Northampton. I'm actually a person who very rarely uses bad language but the aforementioned ground description has become everyday language on this site.

Pretty sure I've read some bad language from your posts.

What amazes me ,who is an administrator on a Coventry City forum, is so anti-Coventry City and pro SISU in their "commercial tactics".

Do you been the posts i made yesterday about things saying how their tactics were rubbish?

How dare somebody have an opinion different to yours and run a website.

I'm not on about bad language, just the cringiness

I would be more disgusted if one of my friends who was a grown man found it funny to say shitfields.

Ha I bet they are, in fact they tend to take the mick out of people on here to the extent I'm embarrassed sometimes about this site.

Fact is, we spoke about it once and people have other things to talk about and they weren't actually bothered.

Pros

Get the match day revenues.
Cheaper tickets
Better parking.
Puts pressure on ACL to negotiate a better deal with the club.
Stay away from the council whilst pursuing legal action against them

Cons

Club states it wants promotion (sure fire way to earn 5 million) Players admit it comes into their thinking whether to sign for Coventry or not. So on comparable wages Ricoh means you attract better players you get greater chance of promotion.

Crowds down to around 1500 so yes you get the match day revenues however that is less money than the lose in ticket revenues? Presumedly affects us for FFP.

Losing future Coventry fans the youth and those who are finding alternative things to do on their Saturdays.

The longer it goes on animosity is going to be greater against SISU so when we do eventually return this could have a negative impact on the swell on returning supporters.

ACL maintain they can survive without the club. The only positive if been at Northampton could be seriously hampered by this. If ACL can survive the bargaining position is not as strong.

The legal action seems to most to be futile and eventually most the costs will need to be paid back anyway this bargaining chip has diminished in the power it held 3 weeks ago. That was the time to negotiate.

In summary staying at Northampton is financial suicide I fail to see any logical argument for not negotiating now.

You can still offer to drop the legal action. You could incorporate the 590k into the deal. You get back in time for that Cardiff match and a near sell out crowd with the momentum the return will bring.

The squad gets a boost.

Wait till after August 7th or till the appeal is rejected what bargaining chip do you have then. The club that's it.?

Make the phonecall and make it now.

ACL if it comes, negotiations can bloody well take place including the 590k that's the point of a negotiation!!!!!!!!!!

Better parking?
It's only reasonable as they only get an average of 1900 to each game.
If you go when Northampton are at home its a nightmare and they only get 4k max.
Sorry but do not agree parking is a pro.

So no longer it's not about "bad language" that other people made a de facto name for Nothampton.

So is the "cringeness" about the highlighting of a true real life recountment on how it relates to the recent SISU "commercial" tactics and how it impacts 45 years plus Coventry City supporters?

I was born in Coventry and actually class both Manchester and Melbourne as my "home". I still care though about my city I grew up in and its people and welfare. I remember from your previous posts that you have no feeling or concern for
city of Coventry, that view is enhanced IMHO by your slant on Ricoh events.

Maybe you think you are too good for it and the south of Coventry "satellite towns and villages" are more in line with your "Coventry area" aspirations.

The club can not start the season at SF. To many fans have just gave up and many more are on the verge of doing so and the war between `them` and `us` will get worse.

Its easy and simplistic to call the SISUfields lot wankers, traitors and scabs etc. I see them as the Vichy French.

`I do not support SISU I support CCFC'. Bollocks, cop out.

I do not approve of McDonalds. I would not go into their franchises even for a piss let alone spend any money.
I do not approve of what SISU have done to my beloved football club, I would not go into their Northampton franchise or spend any money.

Quite easy really.

"He heard a sound like a whistle, then walked onto his balcony on the fifth floor and saw something falling from the sky. He later understood it was part of the plane’s fuselage. Then he saw things that looked like pieces of cloth coming fast toward the earth. They were bodies, many with their clothes torn off.

Rescue workers said they counted many children. A boy who looked to be around 10 lay on his side in the grass in a red T-shirt that read “Don’t Panic.”"

Puts it in perspective for me. I can't get the thought of children falling from 10k, screaming for their parents, out of my head. Fuck Sixfields, fuck all this petty bollocks. I'm out.

There is no issue with highlighting anything, the cringiness is the "shitfields" when people have a serious conversation about things and how they seem to be able to do it witha straight face. Yes when people first said it a couple of times maybe but a year later and grown men use it like it is normal to try and make them look cool. There are a lot of things I dislike, but don't really feel the need to make up "funny" names for them.

SISU need money and supporter support at sixfields and you are giveing it to them. The Quote "I am supporting Steven and the players" is a hollow excuse as you are supporting SISU more. I think for a lot of supporters going to sixfields it is more to do with " I have not missed a game for ** years". They are not supporting Steven and the players, just looking out for there own interests and record. These people will support anyone as long as it fitted in with there plans, to them "right and wrong" will not be considered, all they need is an excuse "I support Steven and the players" being the favourite excuse.

Yes SISU do need money, the people who went to the Emirates gave them a lot of money didn't they?

People don't need an excuse, that is what you fail to see. People don't need to explain themselves to people like you on here. If they want to go they will go.

You would have to be an absolute moron to believe the paltry revenue at sixfields keeps sisu afloat.

I can see why you believe this argument.

You keep bringing up this game like you only have one string on your guitar, it did not matter how many city fans went to the Emirates as those tickets would have been sold to arsenal fans and SISU would have got the same money from the game. I never asked people to explain themselves to me on here, I was just stating facts. "People like you on here" your words are we in the majority.

It is because it proves a point, you go on about people giving SISU money yet the hardcore SISU haters didn't mind too much at the Emirates did they? It is because that one string on my guitar proves a point.

Are people obsessed with majoritys and minoritys as if it is meant to prove something? I remember when the "minority" said Andy Thorn was an awful manager and got shouted down by the "majority".

Lets be honest we dont ever have to go that dump to realise its shit.

No fans.
No atmosphere.
No life there.

Its like a barren wasteland.

I have spoke to a sixfieder and he said its shit and its like a mourge.

Who wants to sit through that?

There are no pros whatsoever!

1,500 went and gave fisher hope. The plan was a new STADIUM in 3 to 5 years the league were told, and fisher stated "we have moved on and no return to the RICOH" . Now they are open to talks for a return and the deluded SISU supporters on here seem to think it has nothing to do with the majority of supporters not going to sixfields. Fishers quote 3,000 to 4,000 playing poor and 7,000 playing good was way out and if there had been only about 500 there they would now have got a deal for a return to the RICOH.

I have met a lot of hardcore city fans who never went to the Emirates, they do not like SISU and never gave them any of their money for that game. The pubs in coventry were packed that night with SISU HATERS. You should have gone to the pub in coventry that night and chatted to the fans. Keep in touch with the fans Nick, "it will mean leaving Grendal behind", you are out of touch.

It's well known that getting 28,500 fans less than for a game against Crewe is enough to give somebody hope that Northampton is a superior long term solution.

The 1,500 have delayed the return as Fisher had hope more would return. If there had only been 500, SISU would have known the game was up and started to get back , a deal would have been done sooner than later. If no supporters had gone it would have been different.

They were banking on 3,000 to 7,000 going to sixfields, so 1,500 gave them deluded hope. SISU and Fisher got the wrong numbers back in there survey last year, my little survey proved right and the latest is that no one is changing their minds. the gates at sixfields will still be low, maybe even lower.

You seriously think anybody at the club would expect gates of 7000 at Sixfields when regular gates at the Ricoh were only 3 thousand higher than than the previous season?

They were not banking on anybody turning up at Sixfields, because it has absolutely nothing to do with revenues. They went there expecting to lose a fortune in the short term. They moved for no other reason than than to starve ACL and force the council to sell the Ricoh on the cheap.

I don't believe that, they projected higher numbers than they got and they also thought they'd break ACL during the season, it didn't happen, now they are up shit creek without a paddle.

All they have left is appeal after appeal and Nick/ Grendal support, the raft is sinking. It is just a matter of time before the rats jump of the raft leaving Nick/Grendal in the shit.
