Is it me being dim or is there genuinely no point this? What will it highlight other than the fans want to be back at the Ricoh, which is something all parties are already aware of, if I was the Trust I would be looking at ways to rebuild bridges with CCFC and looking for a way to try and get all parties round the table for sensible discussions, even if they have to mediate them.
Are there tickets for sale that we can buy now, but more importantly be able to monitor the progress to 2000+ ?
I can see a a big push of support if it is definitely going to be achieved.
Also nice to go through the motion of going to a home match with a sky blue shirt on. Followed by the casino and a few old friends.
sky blue council trust.
I am not too sure, as some people see ACL / CCC also to blame surely it could be seen as backing them? It also alienates trust members who go to Sixfields and seems to be moving away from the "representing all fans" that it was? Not a dig or having a go.
It will be a good day out. Pre match drink, meet some fans, watch the ladies, into the casino.
A few proportion blame to ACL/CCC but this is where we want to be so lets give it a go. What else you doing ?
There were members present who attend Sixfields - they raised no objection as they share the wish to get the club back to the Ricoh.

If it was at Bedworth Oval then maybe.
I still think if there was a local non league game on a different day that thousands of city fans turned up to, it would get more press.
I don't see what it could achieve apart from distancing it's self from the club and getting closer to ACL again?
If you can explain how this will help get us back to the Ricoh I would be happy to attend.
All it seems to do is an us vs them situation again where people have to choose with a bit more division

A few.... or nearly everyone apart from " a few" on here?

I think it is quite simple - it would show that there are more people prepared to attend a match in Coventry than will travel to Northampton. It's not about taking sides, the meeting also generally acknowledged that no party is blameless in this situation. However, the vast majority of fans want the club back at the Ricoh, this is a way of demonstrating that fact and supporting a team wearing Sky Blue, playing decent football in the City.
No-one is asking those who want to go to Sixfields that day to change their position. This is for those who don't want to / can't travel to Northampton which is clearly a far larger number. As with all these things, personal choices should be respected.
They will be offering guided tours of the council house next.
It's not going to help us get back to the Ricoh. It's just the trust doing something just for the sake of it.
Like someone said previously, the trust should be making every effort to get both sides back round the table, not alienating themselves with either side.
Dur !!!!
The game is at the Ricoh and the aim is for media coverage. Media coverage puts pressure on all parties involved in the decision for ccfc playing at sixfields !!!
Are you blind ???
The trust have tried trying to influence the club directly and it hasn't worked. They have been ignored by Sisu and threatened with legal action. At the recent meeting ML held a witch hunt.
Do you really want Sisu involved with our club ?????
I'm no big fan of the trust but I applaud them trying something new !!!!
Well, what
happened after Arsenal? The most media coverage we've had so far? A thousand or so going to a women's football match won't make the slightest bit of difference. The Trust needs to lobby all sides not support one of them.
Its funny that everyone with a negative attitude to this idea seem to attend sixfields !!
One day it will click with the various “action groups” that the only well supported and successful actions have been away from the two problem areas – The Ricoh and Sixfields.
Staging action at either of those two venues will never gather full support. See The March, Emirates and Meadow Lane.
