Some still believe he’s untouchable, but anyone else their head would be called for.

No idea what has happened but something has to change.

Does he come out publicly and say he doesn’t rate this seasons buys? Does he slate the recruitment team? Does he accept he’s winging any plan B?

Poor Doug must be wondering if he’ll ever get any return on his investment of these players! Could have made £30m+ in the sales of Vik and Hamer, but has squandered a fair chunk of it on 11 duffs

Robins is the one who sanctioned the signings and assembled the recruitment team.

Surely the return of O’Hare looking lively is a positive too? And the formation change could prove to be a big moment I think.

Strange to say that I’m happier after this defeat than before it.

It's always an improvement when you don't score any goals in 3 and then get 2 in one! Every cloud...

Notwithstanding a few misplaced passes I though COH made a big difference. Simms looked very good coming in from out wide.

Ayari anonymous and weak as piss when he did have a touch. He doesn’t look ready for men’s football.

Wilson

MVE
Binks
Kitching
Bidwell

Sheaf
Eccles

COH

Wright
Godden
Simms

For Stoke please.

I think we've seen an alternative that looked pretty good , individual errors though must be nipped in the bud

Would rather lose 3-2 than 1-0 every week anyway. Good loss lads, well played.

It’s great seeing CoH back but I really can’t see him signing a new deal

Why is everyone picking Thomas in their 2? He’s diabolical. On todays showing Lati and Binks for me as the middle 2.

Send Airy Fairy back, play Binks, Bidwell and Simms, played well 2nd half, 1st half awful, I don't think Robins knows what to do, DaSilva and Fadz need taking out the team for a bit

I can’t see us going down, we’ve been bad but I still think we’ve got enough quality to scrape by as we are. Hopefully get some decent reinforcements in Jan and push on. A short run of form can do wonders for position in this league.

It would be classic Cov to go on a crazy run good or bad

by bad I mean go down

there’s no medium

The thing that’s stood out over the past 5/6 years, compared to days of yore, is that we haven’t gone through bad runs. The odd bad result/ performance, sure, but I can remember under most previous managers where we’ve gone, something like, 11 games without a win. Or 6 defeats in a row.
Under Robins, this hasn’t happened.
This is worrying. No wins before the next international break and I reckon he’s in trouble.

No chance. Even at 80% today he regularly looked a cut above anything else on the pitch today, their Canadian guy aside. His bread is buttered at a higher level than our current side.
