The defending for that third was absolutely dreadful. We could have dragged an equaliser out of this but now we all know it's lost because our two summer signings are not capable of turning this around .
Even the Preston commentators are talking about Simms "£6m summer signing " and not in a particularly complimentary way.
We know his real worth.

Just 3 cleansheets in 15 games, conceded 21 in 15 games and still playing.

Last season at this point, we had 6 cleansheets, conceded 18 in 15 games

Unlike last season, we have a soft underbelly, it's difficult to see us to significantly improve when we leak goals so regularly
