I haven't seen him play very often but he may be a bit too similar to Madine if we intend to keep him for longer, he done decent for Swindon at this level.
I have seen quite alot of his goals this season and all our good strikers instinct around the box goals, would offer us something for sure as well as being a natural finisher.
Can't wait to see 7 new players in at half way point in the season.
Here's the drill:
1) Pressley praises them and what great characters they are, they've played in higher divisions, just what the squad needs.
1b Pressley claims that three of the signings he made in January played like seasoned internationals after the away game at Fleetwood Town
2) 8 weeks later half of them will be in bomb squad mark 25 and will never play for this club again
2a Pressley compares the new centre half to Franco Baresi after the 0-0 draw at bottom of the table Crawley Town
3) 12 weeks later...they have shown great work ethic and stood out while playing for the under 11s
After season end Pressley denounces all the new signings and five other squad players as not having the right DNA to be able to play the Cov way ,which we have now become WORLD FAMOUS for ,and claims he will have to go and source 13 new players for the coming season in league 2
Let's not be so negative that we criticise players before they have even been signed! Who knows, he could sign one of the 1 in 20 that is actually good.
But if you can't get a starting spot in a Championship side, you are really L1 standard. And if you can't get a starting spot in a L1 side, you are really L2 standard.
That's not a blanket rule that stands up to scrutiny. Danny Welbeck wasn't getting starts, but he's hardly a Championship forward. McGoldrick was allowed to join us from a Championship side, he's now at the top of that division.
