Lorna Bailey is the single worst reporter/presenter CWR Have ever dragged up tbh

Absolutely no redeeming qualities or talents
Lampard sometimes comes across as a bit moody and stand offish so she's probably the right person to ask the questions others wouldn't. Granted its because she appears to have no concept of social cues or how to read a room but its better than the divvy brummy who used to interview our players when they signed

She’s a daytime local radio host, why CWR think she has any right to be anywhere near us is beyond me (Well I do…✅).

Don’t even bother listening to CWR after anymore as I can’t stand us voice and the meaningless chat she gives out. I don’t want to hear a 10 minute segment on whether towels have been banned in the EFL when taking throwings and her interjecting commentary about seeing a spider.

Get back to speaking to Doris at lunch time about why going to a Pilates class in Eastern Green has given her a new lease of life at the age of 82.

She can be a little irritating with all the "This is amazing" comments which can be around anything (crowd size, performance etc)
but she takes no sh*t when interviewing and will defend her corner

Yes a proven tactic to get the best out of football people

The subtly that was required when King unleashed the Robin/Adi fall out was completely lost on all the CWR chumps and they made themselves look like idiotic amateurs .

She doesn’t have to prove her SuperFan credentials to anyone. Like with Gurney it just sounds cringe.

Yeah like that king interview where she ended up looking silly 🙄

Got to try believe what we are told but I still feel the rudoni injury is his shoulder again. Lamps keeps swerving questions when asked about it makes you abit suspicious

Asks a question, gives her own options, asks another question, qualifies it and then asks another question. Just ask a question and stop speaking!!!

She asked all the questions that people would have demanded the local station asked - injury updates (even pushing a reluctant Lampard on the Rudoni injury on the basis
that it was her job to ask) - how to prepare for a team galvanised by adversity (not getting paid) - and what exactly the club does during an international break.

Lampard answered all the questions with considerably more grace than he gave Clive (who seemed to really wind him up for some reason).

I was massively critical of Lorna Bailey’s lack of nous during the fans’ forum last season but she’s actually done a decent job at the press conferences the past few weeks. I’m a bit tired of the constant questions about how great the fans are but Rob Gurney is even more likely to be asking those week in week out.

don’t mind the content of her questions at all really, at least she doesn’t get brushed off with the first answer. Others have their list and ask it and just take whatever the answer given is. She goes again until she’s pushed the limit and gets as good an answer as she can

Needs to learn when and how to end a sentence/question though and stop babbling on when they’re trying to answer

And another thing, Lorna Bailey managed to get some really interesting stuff out of Luke Woolfenden.

A £4m signing over a month ago was asked if he’s happy on our bench when he wasn’t happy on Ipswich’s and he responded by pointing to a “lot of politics” at his previous club which meant he couldn’t get a place in the team on merit. It points to a serious issue between him and McKenna at least.

Obviously, it was Woolfenden’s first press conference briefing and maybe he is just quite forthright about telling journalists things but let’s not pretend that this was standard presser stuff.
