Thought Lampard was his most open and happy in one of these - maybe slightly more relaxed given we’re top of the league.
Ellis handled some of those questions quite well I thought… brave to ask about his perceived negative body language earlier in season.

I would normally prefer to have Wright starting over Simms but we have a busy week ahead and Haji must be tired after a ten hour flight back, so on this occasion I would start with Simms.

I'm actually happy with this. Ellis has shown signs recently of being back close to his best and I think it will be good for him to get more minutes under his belt.

I'm going 2-1 to City. Simms and Torp to get one each.

Lorna Bailey's questions are awful. Mainly because she often asks multiple questions and just has a style that meanders about before she lets them answer. She also interrupts herself with her own nervous laugh.

It's not that the questions are bad, it is more to do with her phrasing and grouping questions together. For a professional journalist it is pretty poor. She needs to become more succinct and focused when she asks a question. Then let them answer.
