Likewise. If it had been an 'easier' fixture I would have probably put him in.

Man City begging for penalties.

I wanted to put Mitrovic in too but wasn’t sure he’d be fit

Ronaldo has left Man U with immediate effect. No surprise there really.

Rumours that Apple are launching a takeover bid for Man Utd. Would seem an odd move, do they own anything remotely similar?

As if I didn't hate Premiership football enough, now Apple want in!

No, although they have just signed a big rights deal with MLS on Apple TV+. I don't see why they'd want to own a team though, and I'm sure a media company like Apple wanting to buy a club would set off alarm bells with the Premier League.

It's curious as to why these and Liverpool have come to the conclusion that this is the time to exit?
Do they see a downturn in the future?

I think some of these owners may have been pinning more on the future of the European Super League than they were letting on.

Tottenham currently losing at Brentford. Hardly surprising considering the comments Conte made before the game. Why do it? Makes you look so weak and defeatist. Gonna need to pull it out the bag to get anything from this game now.

Brentford v Tottenham: Spurs boss Conte may rest all his World Cup stars

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte suggests he will only select players who were not involved in the World Cup for his side's Boxing Day match at Brentford.

Liverpool tearing Villa to pieces and only Darwin’s finishing is keeping the score down.

Darwin is gonna be an unreal striker in a couple years. He misses a lot of chances but I don't see many strikers get themselves in scoring positions quite so much.

Like Haaland but with far inferior finishing.

Nunez is such a frustrating player. He has so much talent, but he's so inconsistent with it. Mings will probably feel he could have done better with that.

Depends on there being 3 even worse teams but unlike last time there is no Norwich or Watford miles adrift. Lampard surely won’t last if they head back into the drop zone

I think Southampton are a possibility for being one of those teams.

I think they’ll be one of the 3, Forest probably another and the third is between quite a few.

They could be bottom quickly if they keep going like this.

How did the ref even give Arsenal a pen from where he was? It clearly hit his head.

Just looked at the Southampton side today and it looks like a championship side in waiting, Che Adams is stealing a living at that level.

They've been poor for a while now, bar the occasional decent result, but somehow there's always been three our four teams worse than them. Don't think that's the case this season.

Ruthless by Arsenal but ultimately two of those goals were glaring errors. Takes nothing away from how well Arteta has donr

They might not but Man City will go up a gear and tear straight past them.

Bournemouth not interested in playing. Schoolboy defending to give Chelsea two really easy goals.

Forest are dreadful, though they would have enough quality to stay up but not looking good.

United are looking sharp though, Forests future will be decided by how they play against the team around them.

Grealish could, and probably should, have at least 2 goals before half time here. That last miss was criminal
