You just have no logic to your argument. Lampard inherited a squad from a lazy useless manager

No need to be so angsty when people laughed at you

I would be surprised if Frank lampard is successful at Everton.. just doesn't appear to be the right man for the job long term

It's more Everton are shockingly run at the very top just atm. Nobody's the right man long term until they sort that out.

To be fair benitez has solid pedigree as a manager .. almost a 50% career win ratio over almost 1200 matches .

Not sure he's useless

Given the jobs he's had he's underachieved and left clubs with badly unbalanced squads when fired. Massively overrated IMNSHO.

He had a squad at Chelsea that he did poorly with but they won the CL 5 months after he left.

Was given a £200 million war chest at Chelsea and was sacked half way through the season

Then arrives at Everton and signs Dele Alli for what could end up being £40 million if he stays fit and a waste of wages if he doesn't. Talks a good game but the jury is definitely not looking favorably on him

He’s a busted flush his premiership record in recent seasons is poor and his Everton signings as well as Newcastle were woeful. Even Bruce matched his record at Newcastle didn’t he?

This is definitely a factor. But Lampard won't cut it as a manager.
The man in the opposition dugout tonight has far more about him.

Both really , he massively overachieved to win Liverpool the champions league for example , did well to win la liga with valencia twice in the early 2000s .. probably underachieved at Real Madrid and napoli .. inter Milan were better under mourinho

Lampard took over in 16th, admittedly in trouble. As things stand they have to fight for survival on the last day, I wouldn’t consider that as steadying the ship.

Big, big job for a not so established top level manager.

Benitez is yesterday’s man the game has moved on and he hasn’t, he t would be a shock if he ever worked in the prem again even with some of these foreign owners who seem to choose managers by the name.

His early managerial career would finish an English manager. Not so sure CL is representative - at the end of the day it's a cup competition. In the league, they went backwards.

There's no doubt he did poor at Everton , his career isn't just Everton though ... didn't do too badly with Newcastle.. a mid table 10th finish .. Bruce never finished 10th

No, Frank Lampard - the guy in question.

This was operation rescue, appointing Lampard was a massive risk.
