Yep. The standard all across Europe outside of Man City & Liverpool is absolutely on its arse now. This United team is utterly tragic yet still somehow only 3pts off Top 4 & a Champions League spot.

We may not have got the Super League (yet) but the ridiculous money in the upper echelons of the Premier League has already destroyed competitiveness. Even the supposed elite clubs in Europe like Barcelona & Juventus are at a point where they can't compete any longer.

Yes, I've said on here for many years the ESL has existed in my shadow form for years. The game is and continues to be distorted in favour of a handful of elite clubs, it'll destroy itself.

Hedge funders v oil rich owners ain't a classic contest tbf. Give me the ones that put Man Utd's ego in its place any day. Also their fans haven't been brought up on constant success so the club may as well have a chance to pick up some of the onesfrom Surrey.

I went to Coombe Abbey with the family today and felt sorry for a couple of kids I saw in a group, one was wearing a Leicester shirt and the other one was wearing a Man U shirt.

Saddened by this. Wanted Burnley to do well for him...Dyche was in the first team at Chesterfield when I was a youth there, he was a good pro, who was a natural leader, becoming skipper, and always had time for the younger lads. He was a good guy, and I believe that we (City) were looking at him for a while.
Can't see what this will actually do for Burnley!??!!

Stephen Ward (ex Burnley) is on Sky Sports tonight as part of the Sky team and he has just said "If Burnley get 3, 4, 5 or 6 points out of the next two games it would change everything"

My question is, how do you get 5 points out of 2 games?

Merseyside Blue really gotta make that extra game count. Gonna be one of those Match of the Day flit between grounds on the final day.

Another couple of seasons and the Merseyside derby could be Everton vs Tranmere at this rate.

What a waste of money Adam Armstrong has been so far, doesn’t even get on in a game like this

Must be getting squeaky bum time on the blue side of Merseyside, if Burnley manage to put a small run together.

Hard to tell which run-in you'd rather have.

Everton: Liverpool (A), Chelsea (H), Leicester (A), Watford (A), Brentford (H), Palace (H), Arsenal (A)

Burnley: Wolves (H), Watford (A), Villa (H), Spurs (A), Villa (A), Newcastle (H)
