Ultimately it’s only a good thing for new clubs to go up and stay up…just wish it weren’t themI think sunderland have made some good signings , away from the shite that other recently promoted sides have made they've had a proper go
Congratulations but nothing spells celebrating a victory like going onto another teams forum that you aren't even in the same division as!!37 points to go

It's a team game management inclusiveAll courtesy of MVE’s howler
Ridiculous. Like they're trying to suck the goals out of football. If they dissallow this im at a loss with VAR
They have to be consistent. That will happen in most games with the pushing in the wall etc. Are they going to keep up?If they dissallow this im at a loss with VAR
By the letter of the law, it's correct. It's not so much for the push on the player but the fact he ended up too close to the wall. Bit ridiculous considering the ball went nowhere near the wall, but rules are rules I suppose. Not sure it's a free kick to Chelsea though. Retake I could understand.Thats shocking sorry, fucking shocking
Yet in other games they won't go as far when they check. The think that irks me is they actively go looking for reasons to disallow. They looked at offside, the push then proximity to the wall.
I guess they are trying to draw players in to go over them? Will somebody please explain to me the point of a short goal kick, playing a 1-2 just for the keeper to hoof it anyway? We did it last Saturday and on Tuesday night too.
100%. And someone needs to break the status quo and stay up. Feel like they could do it.Fair play to them. I’d rather see them up there than the likes of Burnley and Sheff Utd.

But do you think they'd have been so rigourous had it been a team like Liverpool? The thing that irks me is they actively go looking for reasons to disallow. They looked at offside, the push then proximity to the wall.
Absolutely. I watched most of the Sunderland v West Ham game yesterday, just flicking on the scores in between. No way I'd do that for Burnley, Sheff Utd, Norwich, Watford, etc etc. As much as they have some proper odd ball fans with the Jimmy Hill thing and going onto other teams forum after a win rather than celebrating, they make the PL a much better watch.100%.
