Starting to get worried about these proffesional footballers who seem to be struggling with cramp but it’s like a miracle cramp that only appears when you are winnng.

Mike Dean now saying the threshold for a second yellow card is a lot higher. Fucking weird, a yellow card should be a yellow card?

Can’t quite get my head around that comment. Surely it’s either a yellow or it isn’t.

Would’ve thought there’d be more than 5 minutes added, they get this wrong so often that I’d do away with it all together and just have the clock stop whenever the ball is dead or in the keepers hands, then game ends at 90 on the dot.

just seems like they pick an arbitrary number.

The game would go on for about three hours as the goalies hold it for ages, Raya just held it for twenty seconds

Then you bring back the 6 second rule and punish keepers for time wasting, far too much dead time and teams have become masters of faking injuries for minutes at a time to kill games off when they’re under pressure.

The refs just don’t seem interested in dealing with it.

They could do things like

goalkeeper can hold the ball for ten seconds total including the lying on the floor bit then it’s a penalty no messing about

goal kicks taken on the side the ball goes out with a time limit.

Subs have twenty seconds to get off the pitch or the player entering has to wait the extra time that was wasted before entering the field and book the player entering the field.

Stop this ridiculous defenders shielding the ball and then falling over.

There are loads more as well

Wolves drew the short straw of the fixture list to start the season, Away to Arsenal and Forest (who’ve had a great start), and home to good sides in Newcastle and Chelsea. Hard start for a side who ended last season badly.

Should be 3-1, think Tonali should give the keeper no chance really

Another near death bout of cramp as soon as wolves got going. Anybody who gets cramp should have to go off for a couple of minutes.

Not sure about Villa's pay per minute tickets idea if this becomes the norm!

Not Dawsons day today, deflected a goal in his own net and then blocked a decent effort from his own team

Meh.

Rather have clubs regulated properly than host a World Cup.

The wankers spaffed a two goal lead and are moaning about freeze frames for Palace’s first goal.

Don’t think they have much of a case, the angle with the defender outstretched looks onside and isn’t it supposed to be semi automated now anyway?

More than happy for them to make themselves look as stupid as possible by taking this as far as possible though, especially if they start invoking some PL/VAR conspiracy/cover up to punish them for winning the PSR case.
