Is it just me or this an awful comparison? Wan Bissaka arm is way away from his body, with further distance to the ball. Definite pen for me.

Burnley player is very close to the ball and arm down by his side. Would be a harsh pen IMO.

Saying that, I’m not even sure anymore on the handball rule anymore

Yeah, I have always been against pens for when the ball that has been hit is so close to the defender in question, but when I saw the Wan Bissaka one, his arms were all over the place. He definitely made himself look so much bigger didn't he.

Villa 2-0 up at HT, now 3-2 down.

*Edit, goal disallowed by VAR.

Think Chelsea have been robbed there. Nothing in the shoulder barge that you don’t see a thousand times a game. Ref reversed because when they’re told to go to the screen it basically means “you’re wrong now overturn it”

I'd have understood it if he had his hands in his back, but he never did. Defender just has to be stronger there and not get bullied off it.

Exactly, also don’t think the ref not giving it meets the “clear and obvious error” threshold we always hear about. Weird overturn.

Starting to think it might actually be better for us next season if Forest came down instead of Luton.

They’ve just moved that forward a frame so its when the ball leaves the foot not when it was first contact which is the opposite of what we’ve been told all week

Flicks the players heels and he goes down, he's been punished there because he tried to stay up.

Everyone brought back for the corner but Havertz gets a free header from 6 yards anyway

Staggering the ref didn't give that as he was standing right next to it.

Brighton are a bit shit on the low down this season. Recruitment not up to the usual standard.

He was the wrong side, maybe it looked to him like Rice kicked the ball or something. He certainly didn't hang about after seeing the replay.

Much rather Luton stayed up to be honest.

The club that overspent and broke the rules vs the plucky underdog?

Plucky underdog every time.

Yeah exactly - Forest have been ignoring financial reality for years, no reason to think they won’t continue to do so if they came down.
