Brighton are a breath of fresh air in that league. 4th is probably beyond them but would be great to see them make 5th

No doubt the wealthier clubs will be in to steal their players but they seem to be able to refresh and bring new ones in, they must have a very good scouting network as they seem to find some gems that the bigger clubs lazily miss.

If I was the owner at Spurs and others I would be kicking the scouts arses saying why aren’t we finding these players.

Depends what they invest in & prioritise. Brighton & Tony Bloom have been ahead of the curve for years with their use of data etc. to help them identify these players.

I think some of the bigger clubs, the old so called big 6 if you like, aren't prepared to do this & they'd rather clubs like Brighton take the risk & then buy from them once they've proved themselves at the top level. Makes the players much more expensive of course but seemingly they're not too bothered about that.

This is a good read:

How Brighton’s transfers have become the envy of the Premier League

Brighton will lose more players for a vast profit this summer, but rivals now openly admit 'they will be ready' to move on. This is why

What gets me with the P/L this year is the interim mangers who I find most strange decisions.Leicester for instants had Brendan Rogers who has a win record average of over 50% replaced by Dean Smith WRA less than 40% at any club he has been. Then Everton Frank Lampard (who I don't rate ) but has a WRA over 40% replaced by Sean Dyche never got near 40% anywhere. These are just 2 examples I could Quote more.IMO I think these very move will probable end up in religation.

Rodgers' WR will be distorted by his spell at Celtic

Seeing Big Sam, Karl Robinson, and Robbie Keane on the sidelines for Leeds is so fucking random. It's like an AI illusion!

Big Sam should have picked himself he couldn’t have done much worse than this lot at the back.

Even taking out the Celtic spell which I agree distorts the figures he still has an average of over 45% a figure Dean Smith can only dream off

They really shouldn’t have Carragher in the comms box for Liverpool games.

Really good player.

Chelsea or Man Utd should sign him (though they'd probably ruin him).

Don’t like arsenal, horrible club and horrible fans, how anyone can enjoy 10 mins of football per 90 is beyond me.
