It’s a fantastic appointment, just the sort of manager they need.

The linesman in the Robertson incident is having no further action taken against him.I find that strange I'd love to know his reason for raising his arm the way he did. If it was the otherway round he (Robertson) would have had a long ban.

Because Robertson goes to grab his arm and if that happens and you're a bit wary your natural reaction is to lift your arm to release it. Especially as recently we've had instances of refs being manhandled by players, i.e. Mitrovic. Plus Liverpool are renowned for surrounding and haranguing refs, though certainly not alone in doing so. So he probably does it a bit more forcefully than he needed and his arms raises higher than expected and ends up catching Robertson. If you watch just afterwards he holds his hand out as if to apologise. It's not like he's gone to do him.

TBF to Leicester, Smith does build good teams in time. Not sure he's the right man to try and drag them from their malaise though.

I did say I would love to know the reason why he raised his elbow so sharply.Only seen the incident live if he did try to grab his arm he got off lightly.Prehaps now a message will be sent to all clubs that in future only offending player or captain make any contact (not physical of course) with the referee and him only.

The way I saw it initially was Robertson grabbed his hand and he extricated himself from the hold
No intention just a pure accident
Could be wrong

City, whilst clearly an excellent and well coached team, are mind numbingly boring to watch 9 times out of 10.

Has FPL always been this big? Anecdotally I see/hear a lot more of this kind of chat, I wonder if the Premier League is going to go the same way as the NFL, where the games often become secondary to their fantasy implications.

I wouldn’t otherwise be bothered watching most of the games. Free and fun to have a go

Yeah I’ve been doing it this season for the first time and really enjoyed it. Have played the NFL version for years and loved it too - it’s one of the reasons for the sport being so insanely dominant in the US, so I have to wonder what it’ll do for football over here.

I reckon I've watched two or three times more football in the PL this year as a result of having a fantasy team for the first time.

It definitely breeds an irrational hatred of some players too.
