Went for years being fed up of MOTD for their lack of proper analysis and poor delivery, but you’ve got to appreciate it for what it is - a gateway to those who don’t spend every waking minute of their lives talking about their football team and watching every game under the sun. Also think some of the pundits clearly make a lot more effort to understand and deliver tactical nuance now. Not quite to the levels of, say, the Sky cricket coverage but it’s decent.

Can't believe there wasn't a pen for it, wasn't sure at the time but seeing it back in all the replays at half time I can't believe that wasn't given. I'm sure it's one that would be a foul anywhere else on the pitch.

Got to be honest I didn't think it was until I saw the half time close up, which is why it beggars belief that the ref didn't go to the monitor.
VAR really is a load of bollocks.
The monitor? The lazy bas...d.Especially since the ref was miles away from it.
