If we got promoted.

Would you be willing to give up your free premier league season ticket for a small gesture of will voucher ?

For DK to invest more for warchest in premier league.

5000 x £500.
Is £2.5m. Upfront.

Im sure those 2.5k who bought a season ticket during covid probably would?

It would be a drop in the ocean compared to the tv money.
Hes a shrewd business man. Why wouldnt he explore it.

£2.5M...is alot of money. Wages of a 50k per week player!

I certainly would be so ectactic that i almost certainly would for an exclusive one off limited edition superfan Shirt.

Like we got during covid season.

£2.5m really isn’t a lot of money in the PL.

Those that committed to the scheme should have it honoured, no doubt.

But I have heard they won't be getting any additional loyalty points, if they don't pay like everyone else. Seems fair to me.
Disagree. I've not got one btw so no skin in this, but many of those that committed are probably loyal away travelers who will not be able to to get in the first bracket for first season away games in the Premier League and lots of new grounds so that Jonny come lately can go on tour instead. Doesn't seem right to me.

What??? Why would you sign up to it initially? ‘Gesture of Will’ the club will have just made circa 200m!

They have paid though, extra each year, for the same points as you and I.

We would have bought these but they wanted £500 for kids too, so I wasn't prepared to pay that. Otherwise my plan was to put £250 on Luton at even money and then have either a freebie the season after or win £250 to make the £500 I needed to pay.

We did that and ended up saving about £250 as you say. It's probably not a bad idea for us to do the same thing now and bet on us not going up so we get a discount either way.

Only if I can go to Ryton for a kickabout once a month with the players.

(I swapped my PL for a normal one when I moved seats so doesn't matter, but in reality they should be honoured)

Only if we got a special shirt like we did then with our names on. Hahaha

I feel the opposite, if you have a PL package and you have followed (with Season Tickets) City, since relegation from the prem, all the way down the the dross of League 2 and back up, then you should get a minimum of 3 years free season tickets in the prem lol

Prem package holder here 🙋🏻‍♂️and no.

Technically we’ve already put in more than other ST holders over the past 4 years to give the club the extra funds when they actually needed it to get to the prem. Once we’re there we’re made regardless.

that would be wrong.
i have the prem package, meaning i have been paying more upfront. so it's not a free ST ticket by any stretch of the imagination!

we should get loyalty points. you could argue we should get more!!

How many are actually left, I dropped mine as over 65's was around £160 difference to pay.
If you an adult in the middle blocks then it was a no brainer as it was only a small amount and the £500 was fixed for 5 years.

Yeah my seats were 480 first year so was a no brainer, haven’t looked at the prices since then as I’m locked in at 500, have they gone up even more?

I would be happy to, but not for transfers.

If they wanted to send it all toward the SBITC or towards provision of tickets for disadvantaged people etc.

We are going to have enough money for transfers, but particularly at the minute, a bit of social good with the money would go a long way.

Doug hedged his bets when he offered the premier league package.

Either we go up and lose out on some ticket revenue, relatively small amount given the prize of promotion via the play offs. Or we don’t go up and we sold a few thousand more season tickets for the following season.

The club would not expect anybody to forfeit their ‘free’ season ticket. It’s a ridiculous suggestion.

He also has to shell out for a party with the team for Private Seat Licence holders if there any still alive/in possession of the paperwork

We’ve paid extra for a ST so 100% should get a subsidised ticket if we go up. I’ve probably paid an extra, £200-300 and the ST prices will likely be £500-600 next season?

My gesture of good will was having a season ticket for the past 10 years including the COVID year and Premier League packages. I'll be taking the win and gloating about seeing the best players in the world for free thanks
