Fab news and Congratulations - I have voted girl. My daughter has turned 19 and seems to have become the font of all knowledge and turns out I know nothing about anything. So I hope I am right as knowing how much I am enjoying being a Dad during her teenage years...I really wouldn't want you to miss out on the gift that just keeps fecking giving!!.

We are now at hospital and expecting a delivery likely in just a few hours!

She was born a few hours ago. Mom and baby happy and healthy, now in an overnight room. So, she arrived about 2 weeks ahead of schedule, and the wife just went into some extremely quick labor, and took only three pushes to arrive which I'm told was rather quick. She might be a superhero?

I had twin boys in 2019 and we gave them traditional old names (Malcolm & Kenneth) There’s a Brian in their class this year so I think it’s catching on and nice to see.

Go out and grab all of today's newspapers now, or get one of the family to do it. Always a bit of a memento when they get old enough to appreciate it.

You've just moved from being your mother's son, to being her granddaughter's father. Get used to the slight change in pecking order.
