I've just got back from a week away in Spain...and very nice it was too.
While there I bumped into (and had a great laugh with) loads of Oxford fans who were there on the clubs pre-season tour. 2 games, one in Malaga on Tuesday and one near Torremelinos on Friday.
The club planned it so that fans could combine some time away in the sun with watching their club.
The club also organised BBQ's the night before both games and coaches from various pick up points around Marbella/Benalmedina/Malaga.
There were 500 Oxford fans there for the game on Friday!
Every fan I spoke to loves how the club appreciates the fans and it was great to see and hear the passion they have.
I couldn't help but think how good it would be to see Sky Blue shirts rather than yellow....next year maybe?
How many would go if we did a similar thing?

We couldn't even arrange one fixture in advance.

But this does sound pretty decent!

We can all but dream.....

They did the same last year, in Austria I think. Fans involved with their training session and bbq afterwards. Fans tent erected for retro kit day last season and chairman bought the pints. Luckily for us they have lost 3 key players otherwise they would have been at least play-off candidates.
