The Nuneaton friendly is a good chance to check out the new players and also see trialists etc. Remember a guy we had on trial last season Orlando Smeekes.Wonder where he is now? He actually looked quite useful.

Id forgotten about him. And the keeper we had on trial (well there was 2 wasnt there??) The one who used to be on Man City's books, someone Ellegard, and then the 18 yr Ozzie. He ended up signing for Sheff Utd if I remember correctly. Ady was so positive we were going to sign him. We must have only agree a contact verbally with him (sorry, couldnt resist)

Who was the French winger we had on trial (from Southend I think?). I thought he looked ok and was available on a free. Probably would have been worth a gamble.
