Rushworth looks really accomplished now. He has a bit of everything as a keeper.

Did anyone notice Thomas-Asante unfastening the keeper's glove when waiting for the corner to be delivered?!

Sorry I had to do this.....

All these from Lesta's board tonight :-

8 points behind Coventry. A fall-off like no other.

Imagine getting a text from your Father in Law saying “Mind the gap” about this too

Cov will go up with zero pressure from anyone unfortunately!

Coventry will have this wrapped up by March, who will be 2nd?

Coventry by bar the best side in the league. Got goals all over the pitch

Too right, bitches!!

If he carries this kind of form on, I wonder what kind of fee Brighton would be asking for at the end of the season, especially if we got promoted.

I like the away kit. It's imposing. It's always in the opponents eyes and it must be easy for our players to pick their teammates out.

It can't be! I was told on this very forum that Wilson is a better option in goal.

I was impressed with, and proud of, Mr. Simms tonight.
He should've had a goal or two he deserved.

BTA smashing in Simms bottom corner header shows Simms got the stuff. And TERRIFIC bossing by Simms to get control of the ball on the sideline against pressure, then immediately get it to a free-and-clear BTA for the second goal. Though BTA scored twice, I really felt this game was fought and won by Simms. So happy.

desperate for simms to score, just watched his big chance back and there’s his problem, never looks confident of scoring, but he’s putting himself about more, he’ll do

I’ll give him leeway on this one. His movement was good, but he hadn’t had time to properly set himself when the ball was played. Add to that, he had a great game. Bullied their backline, ran the channels quite well and got 2 really good assists.

Tbf better than I took last years corresponding fixture!
They have some affinity with Cov, having lived there for 30+ years…my old man was steward up at HR.

They also said we’re the best they’ve seen up there this season by some way.
