McNulty seems to be making space, chips over the top but a bit too much on it.

Corner to them, Shipley blocks a cross.

Need to stop giving them away so much

Bayliss headers it clear, Shipley gets fouled when collecting it. Free kick to us in our half.

Would have fancied it on his right foot, wasn't majorly over but not troubling the keeper.

Bayliss gets the ball and drives forward from our box to near theirs. Gets pulled back and their player booked.

Not close enough to shoot.

Thats part of his game that frustrates me especially after his cool clinical finish on Friday

What we need is to wind up their midfielder (Tonge) I think who has been booked. He won't want it at all.

Bayliss has done that well the last couple of games as well.

Doyle is in a mood with Stokes about something, he gets the ball and absolutely nails it out of play.

They attack, Pope wins it in the air and tries to chest it down. We get it clear but they put it back in, Davies heads out for a throw.

Biamou puts it over the top for McNulty to chase, bit too much on it but McNulty shoves their play and gives away a foul.

We've looked good when playing short and bad when playing long so far. Unfortunately because of how deep we are and the pitch itself, there's been a bit too much long and not enough short stuff.

Davies climbs on Barnett's back trying to get on his shoulders I think, free kick to them on the corner of our box.

Their whole team looks so slow too. Devoid of pace.

Davies goes down with a head injury, ref calls physio on.

Looks OK though I think.

If this is the improved Port Vale, I'm glad I didn't have to watch them every week for the first 12 games

Stokes good ball to Shipley, their player touches it out for a corner.

Their 7 cons ref into giving him a free kick and Mcdonald a yellow

Cross comes in and 31 who looks a useful player heads unmarked towards Burge butbits an easy save
