Deffo looks like Wing Backs, Grimmer more advanced than Stokes so far but the play has been down his side.

First goal kick to us, let's see how Biamou sets the tone up front.

Doyle takes a random free kick to nobody, no need to rush it there.

There's no bounce off this pitch at all, couple of the early balls have just dropped dead.

Grimmer was just near enough up front with McNulty and Biamou then, very advanced so far.

They just attacked and it just stopped without any roll either when it hit the grass.

Gives an idea on the game they want to play.

Davies in early with a defensive header after they cross.

They don't want the ball being played on the floor at all. Barnett has won the battle with our defenders so far.

We try a counter after we initially shut off defending a corner

Grimmer’s cross is a poor one when we had two in the box

We break forward, Biamou puts Grimmer in but a poor overhit cross Should have hammered it across the box hoping for any touch.

We start games so deep in defence. It's allowing Port Vale to start this strong and the reason why our attacking play is so disjointed.

McNulty gets a megs on 2 players in a row but then goes down after they block his run.

It's like we are inviting pressure to try and counter, but we don't really have the players to counter like when we had Jones.

This pitch is awful, McNulty took on a man and himself as the ball stopped rolling and went behind him.

There'll be mistakes made for goals in this game - the pitch is like a sponge.

Danny Pugh goes through Grimmer but he moves, he then goes through Willis.

Biamou gets pushed over a pallet with the pitch covering on.

Why on earth is that still by the side of the pitch?

Nice to see they have a Stoke-on-Trent for UK city of culture banner.

Just playing it around the box where the ball was going to everybody's wrong foot, comes to Willis who does hammer it across the box but behind the runners. Right idea though!

Grimmer pulls Pugh's pants down again and whips a cross in, their defender gets in a muddle but manages to clear it. They counter but it comes to nothing.
