Opta says 96.7% chance of promotion

I think we lose in the playoff semis to Stoke tbh

We had a bigger lead than this wiped out in just over a month, my head won’t quite allow me to commit to saying we’ll do it.
We had an injury list and virus go through our side as well as player suspensions. Since then most of our players are back to fitness with Rudoni back to his best with also a strengthened squad.

Look at our bench then and now. Our bench now would walk into the side then. Start believing. It's happening 🏆

I voted 1st.

I was scared to press the 1st button though as it’s still too early for me to say.

I think we’re the only team who has shown any real periods of consistency (minor shout out to Boro with their 6 win run - sorry about that).

Ipswich more than capable of an extended winning run, they haven’t really done it yet this season though.

Millwall doing well, but we’re definitely better than them imo.

We deserve to be and will be champions. I reckon it’ll be us and Ipswich in top 2 but would be good to go up with Millwall and Derby, just to make things that bit worse for Leicester.

Have a hatred for Ipswich with their big charlie attitude not to mention some of the political drivel that their forum is full of so would love either Millwall or Boro to get 2nd with the other winning the playoffs. Always liked Boro because Ive found their fans really welcoming and a similar club to ourselves. I also think Milwall despite the idiots they had in the 80s but who didnt a pretty decent and passionate fanbase who have had to compete with the big London clubs for fans and they truly love their roots

We wont get a better opportunity…. Possibly Wolves, West Ham and Spurs in Championship next season. Imagine that !

We probably only need another 15 points, would take a big turnaround not to get that from the remaining fixtures

It’s possible but I think we will need a few more than that.

It’s a funny season, when you think that Sheffield United were only third with 90 points last season and were ten points off the top places.

That would be just our luck wouldn't it?

We get promoted and next season is cancelled due to the total destruction of the planet.

If it was to be Armageddon and the end of existence, if I was then given the choice of knowing the outcome of the season, but then having to spend the rest of eternity in hell, or going to heaven, but being oblivious to ever knowing what happened, I would choose hell.

I think studying the fixtures for the top 7 teams, we will win the league on 91 points. There is a lot of teams in the top 7 playing each other more than we have, so points will be harder to come by as they neutralise each other with varying results. I thought Ipswich would be capable of catching us if we fail to get 5/6 wins in our remaing games but again they have a few questionable fixtures, more so than us. Same goes for the others. I think Millwall have the toughest test. Southampton I think will grab the 6th spot ahead of Wrexham. To not win the league now would mean another dramatic drop off in form, and I can't see that happening tbh. I think the pressure will get to us and we will lose a game such as Southampton at home but still have enough in us get get the job done. 5 wins and 3 draws may well get the job done but I feel 6 wins we are capable of.

Coventry
Middlesborough

Ipswich
Hull
Millwall
Southampton

To catch us those teams would have to have a remarkable run like we had at the seasons start, and glancing at the fixtures, that's not going to happen.
Just an opinion but would like to hear what everyone thinks....

5 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses gets it done
,boro would need 27 points from 12
milwall, 28 from 11
ipswich 30 from 13
hull 30 from 12

Champions. Been hearing about Ipswich catching us all season and yet it never happens.
They’re still 5 points behind even if they win their games in hand.

They’ve got some tough home games so will drop points here and there. Boro also have tough away games and from here, the chances of both of them catching us up and overtaking us is remote.

If it was any other club, most seasons we’d have said that a team in our position couldn’t mess it up.
