Just want to point out that I am not on the Trust Board, however I go to meetings when I can and fully support the Sky Blue Trust and what they stand for.

That's why I said Steve before CJ / Moz.

What do they actually stand for? Nobody seems to grasp it? I asked the secretary and he didn't reply.

Just feel it's a bit unfair that you end up sort of being the face of the "shite" that gets thrown when I doubt any of the "digs" are really even intended for you personally. Why are the other board members unwilling to engage?

Saw it the other day when somebody gave it loads and had no idea how to back it up.

Improve communication. I agree and it’s something I’ll take forward.

That's the thing, it shouldn't be you taking it forward... Keep saying it over and over and it will just go nowhere no matter how hard you try.

Why would a Trust Board Member give it loads, have no answer at all and then just delete their account when they got made to look a bit silly rather than discuss things? It's clear that theres no appetite to even engage with others from others which is where the issue is.

The appetite to engage is there. It’s something we need to do better.

It really isn't though on the whole. It is from you who sees it and replies off your own back because you feel obliged to.

I was shown the attitude towards this site when the bloke had his outburst the other day. I can see the attitude towards this site when another bloke makes up loads of shit day in / day out.

That's the thing, nobody actually confirms it and says it but then the actions (like the one in that article) say something completely different.

They won't stand for SHITZU so that's all that matters

I think it would be in the best interest of everyone if the Trust folded. They don't represent the fans, they are essentially a rogue group. I don't know why the club even recognise them and involve them.

The notion that those involved shouldn't be held to account for not acting in the best interest of their members because someone else isn't setting up their own trust is ridiculous. It's always the same response.

I regularly have a pre/ post match pint with a couple of trust board members and both are ST holders.
I would defend them against anyone questioning their commitment or love for the club.
However, I think it's really disappointing that the trust couldn't endorse the statement put out which for me is all about City supporters wanting what's best for CCFC.
I think the trust needs to ask themselves a few questions

I will actually try to act on it. That’s the difference. It might take a little bit of time for me to do so but I will ASAP.

Why can't anybody else? It can't all be put onto you.

Others all seem to sit about liking each others pointless tweets and put their fingers in their ears to any sort of question.

This is why things don't happen, no matter how hard you personally try

Thing is CJ I know and understand why the Trust wants to put the boot into the owners and rightly so.
But this statement, for me, was purely about the various supporters groups putting out an appeal for all sides to find a solution in order to secure the future of CCFC.
I don't think it would have hurt them to put their name to it.

It's also not putting the boot in to others also.

Fair play if they are flying about 2 footing everybody because they mess with CCFC, you can't cosy up to some of them when it suits because they are also SISU's "enemy". To the point where it is so stubborn they can't bring themselves to question anybody else in the mess.

It goes against the "standing with the CCFC community" stuff that was put out the other week. It's standing with the Jimmy Hill Way and distancing from CCFC fans.

Can you confirm if Roger Ellis is on the board and it’s the same ex councillor in Rochdale?

I had it with that fella who started that jimmy hill way thingy. When we didn't sign that player (that eventually went to Barnet and got crocked) I forget his name now. He was spouting about how embarrassing that he turned us down to stay non league and that a non league club could afford more wages than us etc. I politely pointed out that there was a bigger picture than just "wages". Not rude or arrogant I just suggested that he was probably earning good money for non league and that his wife could be earning good wages, cost of her leaving her job to accommodate him, the cost of moving house etc etc. Not just as simple as us paying him more than he was on. He just blocked me with no reply.

Surely not this Mr Ellis? Would anyone from the trust comment why this character is associated with the football club?

Makes you wonder why the trust won't say anything about the council. More about the politics of it all than the football club.

I’m not sure if it was Rochdale but he was the CEO of one of the councils and was involved with the planning department for a number of years up there. He’s a solicitor too.

This. Some good blokes on there. The charity quiz event and stuff is good work. But it's all the rest of it. That statement for example. Appeared on Kev Monks' site hours before it appeared on their Facebook page and Twitter feed. I'm not really sure what exactly they do or how they consult their members. Hell, I'm still not too sure if I am a member. When they asked for protest ideas, I suggested red and green scarves similar to what Man It's fans were doing with the Glaziers. Simple and everyone can do it. No response. They come across as more of a SISU out pressure group than anything else.

You should re-introduce that idea as it’s a good one.
