Seeing as I've been retired for some time now, I have a lot of time on my hands. I got to thinking about doing a weekly podcast - I use studio quality recording equipment - but struggling to come up with a subject. The only thing I can think of, something which I have childhood experience of, is being brought up in care. I guess there must be many people who had a similar upbringing to me who might like to have a listen, even being interviewed to take part. Anyone got any thoughts on this? I don't want to do a 'footie' podcast - there's loads of those. I just wanted to try something different. Any ideas?

I would say do what you want to do. If the worst is nobody listens to it, what have you lost? And at least you'll have got something out of doing it.

Review a couple of your favourite albums - why you liked the band etc

Or gigs he went to. lots of stories about seeing bands back in the day i'm sure. Very different to seeing bands in recent times.

Love both of these thoughts! I am a 60's and early 70's music nut along with Northern Soul. I've also been to a few gigs, the most memorable being Knebworth 1990. Thanks guys!
