Torp and Simms played well.
Kitching goal of the season.

Mve had a stinker.
Godden shouldn't be starting up front.

4 all round apart from Torp who gets a 7 and Simms who gets a 6. Everyone else can fuck off.

Collins 6 good distribution
Milan 4 just let’s winger run past him, unambitious going forward, casual sloppy
Bidwell 4
Thomas 4 off night
Kitching 5 shaky
Torp 8 quality
Lati 4 good pro but hopeless
Simms 5 not my cup of tea, we passed up Whittaker for this
Jds 6 thought he was ok
palmer 5 effort in patches frustrates
Godden 3 2nd chance was like he missed it on purpose, sulking body language horrendous

Would have liked the tree points but one takes us back into the play-off makes winning at Stoke ideally a must.
Should hopefully have COH back so I’m happy with that point.

Collins 8- some great long balls to Dasilva and some good stops

MVE 6- missed Sakamoto going forward and out of position a few times

Thomas 5- Few sloppy passes and didn’t have to dive in for the first goal

Kitching 6.5- was ok

Bidwell 6.5- done well for the Godden chance, solid enough

Torp 6.5- great pass for the Simms goal but got caught on the ball a couple of times

Lati 7- broke it up well, knows his limitations going forward so keeps it simple

Palmer 7- Worked hard and always looked likely to make something happen.

Dasilva 6.5- was ok, didnt really help Bidwell much with Whittaker but looked good when he moved to left back

Simms 7.5- much better tonight, deserved his goal

Godden 5- When he’s missing chances like that its hard to justify his place in the team

Those ratings are frankly ridiculous. We’re away at a team with a very good home record. I’d say 8 for Torp, Simms and Kitching. 7’s for everyone else with a 5 for Godden and MVE

Not quite but fuck me for stating the bleeding obvious that we’d miss two guaranteed starters in most championship sides!

Collins - 6
MvE - 4 nothing came off for him tonight , needs a rest
Thomas - 5 decent first half , poor second half . He is still a novice and has played a lot of games this season
Kitching - 6 goal and a steady performance
Bidwell - 6
JdS - 7 thought he was decent tonight and starting to look more comfortable
Torp - 8 Class
Lati - 6 works hard but his mobility is poor at times
Simms - 7 he is slowly improving , linked up well , held it up well and got a goal too
Palmer - 6 tries too hard to play the killer ball when a simpler ball is on , was slow to hit Simms first half when he was beating the left back too
Godden - 4 feel for him but his days are gone

Wright - 5 could’ve done better late on
Saka - 5 struggled to get involved but won the free kick late on
Eccles - 5 just didn’t get in the game

Some scores are embarrassing. A couple of mistakes, including possibly the selection, but that's a good away point at a place lots of teams don't win.

We've lost 2 in 20.

Godden should've scored (if it wasn't offside), theur first one was a poor one to concede, but lots of endeavour and a deserved point.

He wasn’t offside. Ffs.

Ball was played back to him. And he came from behind defenders. Lino signalled a goal kick.

Worse miss I have ever seen in a city shirt

Yes, and we had a CB in midfield with another CM who has only been in the country 2 minutes. Our left back was in the front three and our RB is out on his feet. And unfortunately Godden is currently a passenger.

About right. I know Torp got caught on the ball a couple of times but made both goals and did so much good work. Marking him lower than Latibeaudiere seems weird.

That's down to team selection.

He could have played lati at right back.

Collins 5

Conceded 2 and not sure he was properly covering his near post for their second. The replay highlights might show. The tactic of hoofing long balls for Godden and JDS to try to head seems a bit mad.

MVE 6

Didn’t quite click for him tonight. Maybe missed having Saka to link with. Again, might have been tighter to his man for their second.

Thomas 5

Not so good tonight - mad slide a highlight and some telegraphed passes which resulted in possession turnovers.

Kitching 8

Did quite well at the back and gets a plus one for the goal. Not sure how he scored it but gets a plus one anyway.

Bidwell 7

A good solid performance and a few decent crosses. Should have had an assist I think for the Godden miss.

Lati 6

Was a bit all over the place and then began to lose the plot before he got hooked.

Torp 8

2 assists gets him an 8. Cool under pressure and appears languid at time. He’ll improve his positional play over time. Set pieces are consistently quite good.

Palmer 7

Great feet and skill in the first half. Faded a buy.

JDS 7

Did ok but checked back a couple of times when better options seemed on. Just ok.

Sims 7

Did well for the goal and made a couple of decent runs. Gets blown up for going defenders too often.

Godden 4

Oh dear.

Subs all 6

The second goal was a deflection. He had it covered had it not hit Thomas and changed direction.

Definitely not at fault.
