Football family – let’s help one of our own

Hi everyone,
I hope it’s okay to share this here.
I’m posting about Carol, a genuinely lovely woman connected to the Bristol City community. She’s been a voluntary steward at the club – one of those people who just gives her time to help others without ever asking for anything in return.
I only know Carol and her family through my dad and my 90-year-old granny, but they’ve always spoken so warmly about her. She even once brought my granny a thoughtful gift – warm base layers for winter – completely out of kindness.
Sadly, Carol has recently suffered a stroke, and her family are now trying to raise £5,500 to adapt her home so she can leave hospital and get back where she belongs.
Football is a special kind of family. And sometimes, small gestures from people who are able to help can go a very long way – more than people often realise.
There’s absolutely no pressure at all – but if anyone can spare even a little, or share the link, it would mean a great deal to them.
Donate to Carol wants to be able to go home , organized by Andrew Pyne

Cheers All,
Tom
And congratulations on a superb season! Good luck for the run in and next year
