AFAIK (couple could be wrong)

2015 David Bell

2014 Gael Bigirimana
2014 Chris Dunn
2014 Jordan Clarke
2014 Joe Murphy
2014 Cody McDonald
2014 Lee Burge
2014 Cyrus Christie
2014 Carl Baker

2013 Gary Deegan
2013 Richard Wood
2013 Chris Hussey
2013 Roy O'Donovan
2013 Richard Keogh
2013 Nathan Cameron
2013 Shaun Jeffers
2013 Callum Wilson
2013 Conor Thomas (might have had an extension not sure)
2013 James McPake
2013 Gary McSheffrey

Plus the 6 kids who just signed pro forms.

We can lift the embargo when we've submitted our accounts. When that happens is anyone's guess.

Hope that helps

good to see we have David Bell tied down though, wouldnt want to lose him

In all seriousness, I would like Hussey and Cameron to be offered extended terms asap.

David Bell on his own at the top is by far the most depressing thing about that list.

Now you mention it I think Cameron signed an extension this year! Ill edit the post

Didn't McSheffery sign a longer contract than 1 season??? I think Conor has the same contract as Bigi and Christie!!

You could be right. I took a list from last September and updated what I knew. Only gave Sheffers one year because a) I hope that's all we offered and b) I can't find any details anywhere

If you've got links saying how long extensions are I'll update.

Edit: the only mention of a length for Sheffers is here http://www.midlandsfootball.co.uk/2011/11/new-deal-for-mcsheffrey/ which says one year. Also his original deal was a year with an option for another. So I'm sticking to it being one year.

Cameron signed a two year extension last July, so I'm taking that as right as well.

Looked all over and can find no mention of the length of thomas or Christies deals just that they signed an extension. (though it does say "long term deals"

You also need to look back to AT's comments when 4-year contracts where offered to Bell and Baker;

'We need to tie up someone with Belly's ability on a long term deal for the future of this club'.

And then some question why fans criticise AT....surely he could see that Baker & Bell bring sod all to the playing side.

Eventually, if we keep dropping through the leagues, pricks like Bell will find his level...and I suppose then he will finally look a player with the 'ability' AT argues his possesses.

I want the likes of Bell & McSheffrey to fook off as much as I want SISU to fook off......:jerkit:

You know at didn't want those players in was sisu signing them. At objected and sisu held his family hostage until he duly obliged and offered his public support.

Bell will shit himself at a more physical level, he was frightened enough in the Championship, never seen a player shy so many 50/50's. Stunned he was given such a contract.............Its a shame he's such a coward though as he does have some natural ability.

You say this is as a joke but it was the board handing out all these contracts to these shite players mostly, confirmed by Ken Deluded in an interview last season telling us he has increased the value of playing squad

"If you have got a team and the average contract length is 18-months and say the average age is 25 or 26 and now we have a squad where the average contract is three years and the average age is 23, ergo the value is greater. That’s too simplistic but hopefully it will do."

This was Deluded's quote in an interview, to me confirming that all the contracts offered out to the likes of Bell, Baker etc. were part of the boards scheme to try in there eyes to raise the value of the squad.
Thorn is hardly going to come out and say I think Bell is shit but the board have signed him anyway and he was probably relieved at the time for any players he could get signed on for next season with our owners. If Thorn had full control and resources to replace players I believe David Bell would have been let go.

Incorrect, AT came out and publicly supported the signing of Bell on a 4-year extension.

Or L2....he's here for the next 4 years, so we may found out.

Let's face it, the way we are going, we will eventually find a level for this bloke who is bleeding the club dry of around £250-300k....A YEAR.

FFS......:jerkit:

Mmm...well, hopefully not L2. However, we know the bloke has got it in him. He's scored some of the best goals I've ever seen a player in Sky Blue score.

You mean 2 goals in 4 years?

One at Palace, at one at home to Doncaster??

Jeez, if that is any form of consolation for the £1m+ paid to him for wages, you are more easily satisfied than me....:thinking about:

But, he's not paid per goal is he, LBB? And anyway, that wasn't my point. I've looked at my post and I can't find where I stated I was "satisfied", I was just stating that he has it in him. He scored a cracker at Pompey in the Cup too.

The fact that this is the most positive thing that can be said about David Bell in his 4 seasons at the club just about sums up what this useless prick has done since he has been here.

He should take a look in the mirror and ask whether he has earned his money.

If he is as bad in L1 as he has been in the Championship, and he deserves all the stick he gets.

An utter waste of space.

Ok, you are not satisfied...I appreciate that.

But 3 goals in 4 years??

And yes, he isn't paid to score goals...but what else has he done?

What have you/anyone seen from him to state that he 'has it in him'.

You seem to want to focus on the positives with David Bell...and yes, you can pick a goal here and there (just), but there is no way that any CCFC can argue to support this bloke's efforts/performance/commitment since he has the good fortune to represent our club.

How the fook has he made a (very good) living as a footballer is utterly beyond me.....:thinking about:

He was probably asked a question about the extension in an interview, he is hardly publicly gonna say he is a useless prick is he.

If we had the resources to replace him, he wouldn't be here.

So the logic that AT is shit, because David Bell has a contract extension.

Do the people who have this logic also consider the players they like, who have had extensions or have been signed by AT.

Personally I think Bell is probably one of the most naturally gifted players we have. His injury record is another matter. I think he must have the right attitude. otherwise the club would have got rid, like with Fatswood also naturally gifted..

Fingers crossed he has an injury free season, then like with baker last season, you start to see the real player.

Also with our current owners if Bell was out of contract in the summer, he either would not be replaced or would be replaced by a kid who is yet ready to make the step up.

I wish all of them from the last couple of seasons bar Fatswood had been tied up we would have had a real chance of coming straight back up and if not we would have got some money for them. Deluded was right on that account.

With all due respect I know which I would prefer

He stated that he wanted to keep Bell and was delighted that he had signed a 4 year extension. He also said that he wanted to keep players of the quality of Bell at the club.

Now, if you read into that he doesn't want Bell here, I really am confused....what are you saying? That AT had to provide such a ringing endorsement? That when AT says 'No' he means 'Yes', that AT expects us to decode everything he says....????

AT says what he wants to...didn't he do so when speaking about Fat Freddy? Didn't he say so after the Millwall game? Or were those words the opposite of what he meant????

It seems that when AT says something which is ultimately shown to be incorrect or a loads of bollocks, we have to look for another meaning, but when (rarely) he says something correct/we want to hear, then this is fact!!!

Can't have both ways, mate....:thinking about:

No-one has stated that.

However, his support for such a poor decision, must surely be questioned....or are we not allowed to do that, and just accept shite decisions?

As an aside, what did you think when you heard that Bell had signed a 4-year extension? Chuffed to bits, took a day off work and got lashed?

He must be on at least £5k (I've heard £8k, but only heard that so can't prove it)....good use of money when we are up shit creek?

Yea you may well be right but I don't understand how the quality of the playing squad can be used as a reason to criticise Thorn when all our best players over the last 24 months have been sold or left the club.

2 out of 3 proved correct so far based on your measures...so looks like the argument questioning Bell's 'contribution' is quite comprehensively answered.

As for the 'always will be shit' comment...we've dropped down to the lowest level we've seen for nearly half a century....so even with this in his favour, let's see how Belly 'dominates' L1's finest....:claping hands:

I think the fact that David Bell played in less than half of the games in a season where our squad is so thin shows that Thorn didn't rate him at Championship level.

You know how the saying goes, actions speak louder than words unless they are Andy Thorn's words. :thinking about:

Shall we give him 10 games to 'impose' himself on L1...starting with putting the mighty Dagenham and Redbridge to the sword, eh?!
