Christian Walton is a good shout for keeper and will be on a free. He’s replaced Nyland as my first choice.

Left footed centre back, I’ve banged on about Jake Clarke-Salter but he would command a fee. Whether that would be too much for us, who knows? Also revisit Jonathan Panzo who is going to be relegated with Dijon this summer.

Max Clark at LWB looked to be a good option, also on a free, but he’s barely got a game for Hull so I’m not sure whether he’s injured.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Walsh come back, think he’s got what it takes to succeed at this level and, again, out of contract.

Finally, Sam Surridge from Bournemouth to play up top alongside Walker. Unlikely we could get him permanently, though, so may have to settle for a loan move, which I’d rather not do.

Taylor is a good player. Strange it didn't work out at Forest, maybe attitude. Imagine he'd be on a significant salary at Forest so likely out of our reach.

Not strange at all in my view.

Keeps scoring lately, and played well against us last season. Will Keane (Wigan) Would cost very little and I think there is a decent footballer there (but maybe we need to be looking for better/younger?)

How about striker Ikpeazu from Wycombe, winger Ronan Curtis from Portsmouth, Rotherham goalie Johanson?

Johanson played well against us but against Blues didn’t look like he can take a cross

Please not Lyle Taylor, average record at this level and 31. Plus a total bellend.

I have heard Hearts have a big powerful striker who is not getting any game time. Maybe we should cast a net over him!

If we released Shipley, Baka, Kasta I cant see us getting a lot for them. With the exception of perhaps Shipley I think they would all be released for nothing.
we all ready need potentially to find replacements for Ostigard, McCallum and James which wont be easy or cheap along with at least one striker better than what we have now and a goal keeper to replace either Marosi or Wilson.
if we are lucky we might get 2 or 3 for Marosi

For left back two realistic options are Luke Garbutt (Blackpool) and Josh Ruffels (Oxford). Garbutt only signed for 12 months and Ruffels is dithering on a new deal

I had a quick look to see how Politic was getting on at Bolton. Missed the entire season with injury. So nailed on cert we'll be after him.

Some CB options:

Arthur Theate - Oostende. 6'4 left-footed CB, 20-years-old. Played nearly every game, 3 goals.

Lewis Monstma - Lincoln City. 22-years-old, 4 goals this season, pretty tall. Solid performer.

Cameron Humphreys-Grant - Zulte Waregem. Former Man City CB out in Belgium. English. Good pace for a defender.

Yes, you're right and was part of city youth academy apparently, after checking Wikipedia!

Can only assume we let him go as a youth?

Marcus Harness at Pompey. 8 goals 9 assists from the wing. He's a Cov kid so probably wouldn't need much convincing.. Also skinned me in a Yr 11s v 10s grudge match a few years back at school so he must be decent

The manager and team are the experts but just for fun:

- The Rotherham Keeper Johansson, to give a performance like he did against us, at his age, was very impressive.
- Wilks at Hull - if Hull don’t go up.
- Charles at Accrington

it would be a major mess up if Hull didn't go up from the position they are in

Delap will be in Man City’s 1st team squad next season. Guardiola has already said.

Also, everyone calling for the Rotherham keeper should take a look at Boro’s 2nd goal tonight. Absolute howler trying to catch a cross.

I am surprised at Delap last time I saw him he looked very raw.

The Rotherham goalie had a good night against us and we won’t be signing players based on one performance we prefer a montage of YouTube videos

I’ve been that glued to our business and the Championship table, I hadn’t seen the League 1 table for a while! You’re right, they’re as good as promoted so forget my
comment on Wilks!

Sorry mate yeah I thought that’s why you mentioned him.

Only thing is (like Collins) lads that get released can be bitter about returning. I’m not sure if we ever did have him on our books but I would assume we did

Yeah I’m a wiseman boy too.

I had always heard he was here (maybe even for trials) and had an issue with Oggy. Could be bollocks obviously

No, that's Marty McFly. Or Biff to add a bit of muscle into the defence?
