Post your thoughts on how well the players played. I didnt manage to go last night so i'll do my best on what Clive And Geoff were saying.

Murphy 8 - Sounded like he made a few good saves and only let 1 in away at Leeds which is a good in itself.
Keogh 6 - Didnt sound brilliant from what i heard, Murphy apparently often moaning at him for being out of position
Hussey 7 - Clive made it sound like he a another good game with a few decent tackles.
Wood 9 - Simply because he got a last minute goal :claping hands:
Christie 5 - Apparently had a poor game, got an assist for the goal though
Thomas 7 - Didnt hear too much about him, but from what people have said sounded like he passed and moved the ball well
Clingan 7 - Sounded as though he was solid as ever, nothing particularly outstanding, but did his job as always
Deegan 6 - Bit surprised he went off so early, but was seemingly playing ok
Bell ? - Have no idea, didnt hear him mentioned at all really
Jutkiewicz 6 - Sounds like he worked hard as always, but no goals and nothing particularly noteworthy to mention
Platt ? - Again don't no
McDonald 7 - Sounded like he was a threat and was unlucky not to score with his header
Bigirimana 8 - Sensational ball across to Christie which led to the goal and apparently worked hard and passing was good.

I might be completely wrong, so tell me what you think

Rather than rate players on what I didn't see, best I can do is contibute some live-action quotes that compliment the OP a bit. I posted on the match thread 3 times when Bell made "lovely" passes, and even made this slightly sarcastic comment next to the first one:

"Lovely pass by David Bell"...remember that later when saying he did nothing, chaps!

and then:

Another good pass by Bell!

As for Thomas:

That's 2 great tackles by Thomas this half..

He also seemed to pass very well. I like how AT said exactly what I'd said after Forest-that Connor was very canny in terms of coming back to join in the middle 3 when required, but finding space between the defence and midfield when going forwards. Adds more defensively than Sheff for sure. VERY promising stuff!

I think this quote sums up last night best for me:

A huge H/T team-talk for AT. I'm worried that the younger heads have dropped a bit again.

Whatever he said, it was obviously spot on!

Bell was shocking last night tbf, wudnt get stuck in, wimped out of a header 10 yards out.......bloody pulled his head away from the ball ffs!! oh and his passing was atrocious!!

prob ccfcs worst player over the 90 mins last night, Gael certainly showed him the way 2nd half.

Well he got a lot of very complimentary comments from Clive and Geoff. Based on how many good things he did, I had him alongside Murph as our best player first half. TBH, I'd probably have said the opposite to you about him if I'd been there anyway! That's what happens with my views on Bell and Hussey (compared with some peoples') after most games.

Just saw Gael pass for the goal...Hoddle and Plattini came to mind. Sorry for the over-hype, but it was pretty special :D

A lot of people on GMK saying Bell was shocking.

Hope he has a good game on Saturday or else the fans will start to get on his back again.

eakin hasnt got a clue tho lol

geoffs ok but linnell thinks bell is ronaldinho in disguise!! am not suprised they thought he played well.

he had a decent effort over the bar fom 30 yards that was about as good as it got last night.

Thorn needs to take a lot of credit from last night, changed it at half time and we dominated 2nd half in the main, also in the last minute clingan played a shocking ball wide to keogh which went out of play, we all groaned and thought that was that, i looked down to thorn and he was there clapping and encouraging them still telling them to keep doin what they were doing and boom! 1 minute later weve scored!! :D

IN THORN WE TRUST!!

Yep, heard that pass by Sammy; I think that was the exact point at which I gave up, too! God bless Thorny..that's exactly what I meant last night when I spoke about feeling the "Crazy Gang" vibe...triumph through adversity is all the more sweet, and NEVER SAY DIE!!!
