If we blow this and end up in the lottery or the play off then lose, the quality players leave and season tickets will fall through the floor.
Will be going backwards after years of progression.

If we fall into the play offs there's zero chance of us winning them

Yeah, no club would ever fall off midseason then come back and win the playoffs.

Hopefully it doesn't come to that!

But IF it does, I'll call it now. It'll be Wrexham. And we'll lose. If for no other reason than my vocal displeasure of them and how that type of thing always manages to come back and haunt me!

Come on Frank, Doug. Anyone! I don't even want to begin to imagine how that outcome would feel!

At the end of the day we don’t have promotion winning centre backs. It’s as simple as that. Looking like play offs unless signings at the back made.

If we end up in the playoffs and lose I give Nick permission to delete my account.

I'll go and watch cricket or something.

He can fist pump the crowd again, and our fans will be clapping.

Hoping I’m very wrong .. but the consequences of blowing this massive opportunity are huge.

people forgetting Sunderland had a very similar start to the season last year, fell off and out of the autos.... where are they now?

Long way to go and we are still favourites, boro and ipswich wont win every game either

Imagine how great it’ll be to fall into the playoffs and then win them!
Unfortunately I’ll miss the victory having had some sort of breakdown.

Sunderland? Granted they werent top of the league by 13 odd points, but they did go through a very dodgy patch mid season where they fell away from automatics but were comfortably playoffs

No thank you, my heart couldn't take another play off. The two Sunderland games last season were horrendous to be invested in

But last season was just brilliant to be there at same time. Loads of clubs would chop off their left bollock to be where we are now.

They were sort of cemented in 3/4th from a long way out and unlikely to move into autos or drop out of the playoffs and seemed to play accordingly.
They certainly had plenty of stamina in the playoff matches to keep going to the end of games

Would obviously take play offs over no chance of promotion at all and I think it may even be slightly easier this year, but the whole thing was just so tense to sit through. It's a complete lottery

At the end of the day we all would have took play offs before the season started. Anything more is a bonus.

If we’re there at the end of March we have a shot as have a load of league games in April.
