If we blow this and end up in the lottery or the play off then lose, the quality players leave and season tickets will fall through the floor.
Will be going backwards after years of progression.

Hopefully it doesn't come to that!

But IF it does, I'll call it now. It'll be Wrexham. And we'll lose. If for no other reason than my vocal displeasure of them and how that type of thing always manages to come back and haunt me!

Come on Frank, Doug. Anyone! I don't even want to begin to imagine how that outcome would feel!

people forgetting Sunderland had a very similar start to the season last year, fell off and out of the autos.... where are they now?

Long way to go and we are still favourites, boro and ipswich wont win every game either

Yeah, no club would ever fall off midseason then come back and win the playoffs.
Sunderland? Granted they werent top of the league by 13 odd points, but they did go through a very dodgy patch mid season where they fell away from automatics but were comfortably playoffs

No thank you, my heart couldn't take another play off. The two Sunderland games last season were horrendous to be invested in
But last season was just brilliant to be there at same time. Loads of clubs would chop off their left bollock to be where we are now.

Would obviously take play offs over no chance of promotion at all and I think it may even be slightly easier this year, but the whole thing was just so tense to sit through. It's a complete lottery

At the end of the day we all would have took play offs before the season started. Anything more is a bonus.

If we’re there at the end of March we have a shot as have a load of league games in April.
