They were common in my day and also great fun and 90% of the time harmless, although i recall a few that were anything but friendly, but my question is, will their be one Tuesday.
Wembleys the place to do it as it means we've won the competition!
Doubt the cockney stewards will be as poorly organised our lot though so getting on that pitch is highly unlikely*
*i by no means encourage such behaviour![]()
I don't think Wembley has seen a pitch invasion yet haha!
Scotland???
I was there and remember it well. Probably a 1000+ fans on the pitch. Seemed funny whilst the Wolves fans were in retreat, but then it all turned round and the City fans were chased back down to the South Bank. I was only a kid, did not join in, just watched and hoped that it would all stay a safe distance away.I do remember in the early 70s Cov fans running from the South Bank terrace to the North Bank at Wolves for a scrap. Ask you dads and grandads if they were there.
I'm pretty sure many of you who have turned their noses up, went on the pitch at Highfield Road after the Derby game, and also all those last day escapes back in the 80's and nineties,
Any hypocrites out there ?
Anyway I wasn't condoning or suggesting the idea just wondering if it was likely? Clearly not !

It's even more embarrassing than doing the stupid Poznan.
