Did you see the graffiti on the building site for that one in Warwick by the train station? Always made me laugh when I passed it.

Something like:

1. Buy historic pub
2. Burn it down
3. Build ugly flats
4. Profit

Shame… mum and dad’s wedding party held there back in the 60’s. I can imagine saying to the daughter that I’ve found the perfect location for your wedding…. The Pilot in Radford. She’d be be like.., feck off Dad!!!

Almost my dads 2nd home, he grew up in Eversleigh Road, was a regular there in the 60s/70s until moving away. Changed a bit over the years. He joked you could now for a meal in the Pilot, do your laundry and get your car washed at the same time.
