How about we all stand outside the council building at the end of the season and drink 10 pints each - pints for points, get it? Then we can all urinate our 10 pints down the drains whilst chanting 'First they came for the socialists, but I did not speak out'.

Michael, can you sort out some A3 printouts?
Then the Tories then the liberals after all you must mention all parties in the council that are united in this. You could also add a company who is worried for the taxpayer but is based in a tax haven wonder how much tax they pay(not that that is illegal you understand)

Anyone seen the black and white picture campaign a fan has going on? Not sure who is thinking if the sub-lines he puts on them, but they certainly can't be quoted from the people in the picture (no offense CJ as I know your on one of them :) )

It's an excellent idea and I believe they are just random quotes from fans (and pics of the better looking members of the sky blue fraternity) at Bristol. Not sure if Andy was at the game today (didn't see him). He lives down south. He's trying to get as many City fans as possible involved.

Andy and Jimmy were at game with us again today CJ.
They are doing an on going campaign to keep the message of our plight to the forefront. Look out for next phase of photos.

Tell us how to achieve the end-game genius. Since our actions aren't good enough for you I assume you know exactly what we need to do.

Tell us and we'll do it immediately - because we all want our team back at the Ricoh.

I'll settle for being back in Coventry doesn't have to be the Ricoh.

Maybe not, but it's getting our plight continually noticed, and I makes us feel like we are actually doing something. May I ask what you are doing?

So this is your "protest", ie doing "nothing". Well some people are simply not prepared to do "nothing" and instead are doing "something".

Why are you debating with this prick - just ignore him/her like I have. He/she is always right and knows more than anybody else. People responding to his/her scrawls just give him/her encouragement to continue on his/her tosspotical course of criticising all and sundry just for the sake of it. There - rant over.

To all who took part in the protest today, well done. :claping hands: I couldn't make it as my wheelchair pusher couldn't go. Hope to be at Tranmere; only 20 miles for me to travel.

Just watching MOD and the Cardiff or swansea fans appeared to be imitating the White Paper held aloft Mantra.

FFS someone somewhere needs to call an end to this saga. Mind you it is not only our club is it. We have the owners of Cardiff City changing their colours, the owner of Hull changing their name and Leeds apparently now to be owned by a convicted fraudster. The FL need to grow a pair very soon otherwise our national game is in very real danger.

Think it's been in danger for some time. If the guardians of the game have dropped their guard (which IMO they did so some time ago) then it's time for them to go and allow people in who will stand up for the fans, you know, real fans - not holding my breath though.

And there is nail on head Wigan. The FL are only interested in getting their fixtures played. Nothing else seems to bother them; and so, we need another body to ensure that the fans views are heard and that clubs are not allowed to get away with things which are adverse to that. As to how that will fit into the current hierarchy I really don't know but it needs to happen.

The best thing that could happen is tha the FL rubberstamp the takeover of Leeds, there woulde be uproar and the government would have to get involved:thinking about:

Why would they have to get involved? The football league approved a human rights abuser to lead Manchester City and a fraud to take over Birmingham. This guy is a saint compared to them.

So maybe you have to disrupt the fixtures being played.

To be honest I'm not sure to what extent they could get involved other than some heavy tutting and finger wagging.

Another link to one of our forums. As I said in the thread on the petition, I've put it on all our forums and on twitter and facebook. I'll make sure I bump the threads a few times this week also.

Clearly my response was too sophisticated. There is a danger protests of this nature will create a lot of back slapping and no end game. What is the purpose and how is it achieving its stated goals?

You have a point but it will probably be ignored. Will it gain any coverage in any national papers, TV news reports or national radio stations? I doubt it

I see it as a way to make our feelings known but I think people already know how we feel and the people with the power to change the situation don't give a shit about how we feel. Ultimately it's about as effective as the SISU out chants we have had for the past 3 years and is more an outlet for people to vent their anger rather than something that could achieve something

Could the same argument be made of your incessant, witless posts in here?

It did achieve something. It made me feel better. A day that started out full of promise just fell away to nothing. The protest was our one success today and was applauded by all the County fans.

There are no quick fixes. So keep protesting for as long as it takes. Ignore the ones who feel defeated and stand up for the Sky Blues and get them back in Coventry.

It made me feel better after i confronted fisher at the station. He's the thief but im the one who gets threatened by the old bill with a night in the cells.

Maybe next time tim.

What did you say to him pal?
Told him a few home truths mixed with a few choice words, told him he was a thief amongst other things, i don't really want to say to much on here cos you never know who's reading.

I'd got the red mist and was on verge of losing it, the old bill jumped in and advised me to calm down and get in my seat lol.

The cheeky bastard was wearing a city scarf, he muttered something as he scuttled off with waggot and i assume his wife.

I was wondering though if he was already on our train but at the other end and got forced off with abuse by city fans at that end?

Storm in a tea cup and forgotten about now.

The guy must be seriously thick skinned - and it wouldn't take a genius to realise that there were likely to be a few City fans a) p*ssed at his mob, as well as a few likely to have had a few sherberts on the train back to Cov (I know I had - and cheers to the guys who shared there bottle of Jack Daniels on the way to the game!). Anyway, Valiant - fair play to you for venting your spleen (and not having your collar felt!)
