Great picture although there appears to be an abomination of a football match just creeping into shot at the bottom.

Now I don't wish to court controversy and there is nothing wrong with this action but if this happens every week doesn't it just become a means to its own end? Realistically a protest in meadow lane achieves nothing does it?

Anyone seen the black and white picture campaign a fan has going on? Not sure who is thinking if the sub-lines he puts on them, but they certainly can't be quoted from the people in the picture (no offense CJ as I know your on one of them )

What?

You haven't backed one protest yet.

I know what you'd like - everyone to bend over and take it from SISU. I think you're either the biggest WUM of all time, or mentally ill.

Clearly my response was too sophisticated. There is a danger protests of this nature will create a lot of back slapping and no end game. What is the purpose and how is it achieving its stated goals?

It will be mentioned in the home teams local rag, any publicity is good publicity. Keep it up I say!

It did achieve something. It made me feel better. A day that started out full of promise just fell away to nothing. The protest was our one success today and was applauded by all the County fans.

There are no quick fixes. So keep protesting for as long as it takes. Ignore the ones who feel defeated and stand up for the Sky Blues and get them back in Coventry.

I felt proud to be part of this again today, it brightened up a truly awful game. Whilst we all know Seppala and her puppets will continue to ignore the supporters, we must believe the authorities will call the bluff of these highly dubious owners, and flush their lies and deceit out

I too was there and took part in the protest. I absolutely agree that we must continue with it. Perhaps Grendel this just might be "the end game".

Who tells people how sophisticated they are? Seriously.

You haven't supported any protests, so either a) you're someone who doesn't stand up for what they believe in; or b) you don't think there's anything wrong with us being in Northampton.

Since Grendel is only concerned with actions that immediately achieve our end game, perhaps he can tells us what we need to do to achieve it?

I assume he has the answer. He must or he wouldn't be deriding our efforts...

So your "protest", is simply by not attending?

It was mentioned by our commentator during the match...it SHOULD get a mention on the FL show...whether it will or not I'm unsure, but you have the backing of most County fans and I applaud the fact you never gave up even after Sixfields was a done deal.

Keep it going and the best of luck. Great set of fans who deserve better.

Tell us how to achieve the end-game genius. Since our actions aren't good enough for you I assume you know exactly what we need to do.

Tell us and we'll do it immediately - because we all want our team back at the Ricoh.

If not then stop putting people who are doing something down - because you are doing sod all.

So this is your "protest", ie doing "nothing". Well some people are simply not prepared to do "nothing" and instead are doing "something".

Another link to one of our forums. As I said in the thread on the petition, I've put it on all our forums and on twitter and facebook. I'll make sure I bump the threads a few times this week also.

I thought the first time at Arsenal was great. Think today was ok due to the large following but won't get the same attention the Arsenal one got. Agree that we have to be careful how often we do this to avoid diminishing the impact.

We need to keep it fresh so that people continue to take notice.

Yes it all becoming clear now looking at that pic the fans asking "why" we only got seven players on the pitch lol no seriously fantastic effort but still wont get us anywhere thoroughly enjoyed being with the true fans shame the team couldnt be assed to play

Should try a mass sit down protest at the Wolves home game or Sheff Utd away if we can't make the playoffs. Wouldn't normally condone this type of thing but failure to fulfill an important end of season fixture would send a message and would make national if not international news. Extreme and maybe too difficult but would apply a large amount of pressure.

Sort of agree and disagree. It definitely didn't and won't get the national impact of the Arsenal game. But its a great way of promoting the e petition to the home crowds at our away games. I wasn't there today but I gather the response from the County fans was great and it involved them in our protest. If we get them involved there is more chance of them signing.

How about we all stand outside the council building at the end of the season and drink 10 pints each - pints for points, get it? Then we can all urinate our 10 pints down the drains whilst chanting 'First they came for the socialists, but I did not speak out'.

Michael, can you sort out some A3 printouts?
