Can't we be a bit more inventive?

Has anyone got a list of evangelical churches that allow you to request a call? Or does anyone fancy posting up an ad for a financial dominatrix based in London "Will treat you like shit, while demanding your money" seems pretty spot on.

Lets await TF stating on Talksport that the receptionist was on the receiving end of a torrent of abuse and she is now off with stress etc and the phone numbers will be recorded and given to the police in the style of ball boys and girls crying.:wideyed:

Exactly, let other people do the hard work.

Instead of 3 or 4 city fans ringing them, let people who do it day in day out anyway ring them

It would also be actually entertaining then!

But it isn't her [Joys] money, but investors to a hedge fund. Making a receptionist afraid to answer the phone won't make them pull the plug, they will keep it running at break even until they can recoup money for their investors or fold, it's a total disconnect to coventry, football or fans, to them it's just cold hard business.

To be clear I want them gone and am mortified to have watched this slow demise.

That's the type of thing I was referring to when I meant let other people do all the hard work

Having 25 pizzas turn up at the same time surely has to be a bit more entertaining than somebody speaking to a receptionist?

Love the idea, Nick - However, it's hopelessly flawed. What chance have we all got of harmoniously choosing the toppings?

All ideas are welcome Shmmeee. Do you have a semblance of anything visionary or original to share?

Please be assured that on the occasions that I've called the number that neither of the receptionists have been scared, quite the oposite. The conversations have been light hearted, relaxed and cordial. I was invited to have my say and to put my point forward after which they promised to pass the message on.

I was just thinking, wouldn't I be a good idea for us all to just send in postcards?

If they had a sack full of mail with a couple of thousand postcards in it would be an inconvenience and they would have to sift through them to see if any were actually of relevance to business and then of course they would have to arrange to dispose of them.

Well I just said postcard off the top of my head.

Just envelopes then with a blank piece of paper inside, or a message such as 'Save Coventry City FC'

Right, that's the plan then! Sounds perfect to me. You want to annoy and inconvenience them without aggression or being rude, what better way than them having to deal with 2,000 pieces of mail through their letterbox!

Yep, I think they have to go and collect it and then pay.

I had it happen once and it was junk mail

It would probably be paid from the CCFC coffers though, as it's a club related expense. Just less money to keep the club afloat.

Goddam it, wrong quote used. Oh well. You get the gist.

Tell you what Otis, tiz a a good ruse for sure.
You know all of those bits of junk mail that come through the letter box like adverts for stair lifts, garden centre offers, estate agents, or the flyers that you get in a newspaper etc. Now I know what to do with them. Even happy to put a stamp on - 2nd class of course

Oh god not for a second would I want a poor girl on reception taking flack, all I meant is telling TF or joy how upset we are and waving Sisu out banners or phoning to speak to joy at her office isn't gona change a god dam thing just makes people think there making a difference! Staying away and nopm is a better idea but still pointless as they willjust balance the books again! It needs to be something that gets the heart racing blood flowing thinking that was a close one!! Block her in her lane offices would shit her up but cause her no physical harm you understand what I'm trying to get at?

Welcome AL13N, exactly my thoughts, you have an opinion, but then some are just looking for an argument. :wacky:

Give it time you'll get to find out who the Villains are . ( and I don't mean that team that plays in Brum )
