Hope not. If a conference side are glad to see the back of him then he's not for us.

good bloke but i think that Cov job would be too big for him

Big differance between him and Morrell. Morrell is much younger, has more potential and he knows and loves the club. Buckle has tried at L2 level and has only done ok at 1 club, so i wouldnt want him. Right now, i would only take Paulo Di Canio, Lee Carsley, Andy Morrell or Dennis Wise realistically

You mention age as a positive between Morrell and Buckle yet Buckle is younger than both Di Canio and Wise....bizarre

It's not that bizarre, he was comparing two non league managers and using age as a way of separating on the face of it two fairly equal candidates.

Di Canio and Wise both have manager experience at higher level which trumps age

Its like comparing two proven league 2 strikers who are aged 25 and 21 and saying you would prefer the 21 year old. Yet if there was a 28 year old proven championship striker available you would still take him over the other 2 despite the age

Except experience is a key attribute in management. So the age thing doesn't really come in to it.

Plus a player's career is more time limited and in the main only really lasts for 15 years with the odd exception. They are also saleable assets.

Managers range from 32-33 (Eddie Howe) and 73-4 (trappittoni)

Buckle had the biggest budget by far in the conference and managed to get up to 7th, going on that i would like him to go as far away from the job he can.

Winners, successful people we want as our manager, not someone who could'nt cut it in non league football.

Next candidate please.
