Who's knocking it though? Scepticism seems more prevalent than abuse or discouragement, and scepticism is absolutely appropriate and not necessarily negative.

Not at all, actually speaking and getting responses from actual members of parliament is a worthy cause.

Its these kind of posts which make me think you're just on some massive smug, attention seeking, ego trip

Sterling, let me tell you that I'm an OAP living 40 miles from Coventry and therefore going on protest marches or dressing up like you do is not really possible. My first game was in 1952 and I have hardly missed one home fixture in all 61 years. If Sky Blues go to Northampton I will not be able to get there. All I can do is "my bit" in doing what I am capable of in my own individual way. I resent your criticsism of me without knowing all the facts.

This is the way things will get done. Isn't it interesting that when I was about to raise an ePetition to the government, and that I had contactedt the PM, the scum at the clique said I was wasting my breath! Roll on a few weeks and someone else raises a petition (which isn't going to be read by the PM as it is not an official petition, whereas mine COULD HAVE as it went through the correct channels!), the same trolls make out this is a brilliant idea, indeed it became a sticky comment on this Forum! Isn't it typical that once more I am way ahead of the curve on this one, yet the scum are so desperate to claim credit for everything, they cannot abide anyone doing things that actually work, but instead waste money on ludicrous banners and shop mannequins! I'm sure the League will change their mind after 2-3 loonies turn up at the gates again (like they have never seen a protest before! As the morons said "keep Cov in CIV". There incompetence is laughable

 Here we go again. Only 1 troll on here mate - guess who?

So their answer is to pour cold water on the initiatives of everybody else who is still trying . Nope still dont understand

It is sad to continually see the same posters either denying the facts or twisting them to support a threadbare argument.

It must be like this arguing with Creationists.

Could just as easily say that the one thing that we can be sure of is that "the secretive" Joy Seppala couldn't give a shit about all the conjecture - on other threads it has often been said that there's no such thing as bad publicity.

You could just as easily say it - but given the lengths that the "secretive" Joy Seppala" (there's a gentle hint in the adjective) will reportedly go to to avoid publicity, I think that you'd be wrong.

I have read them.

Then cites CCFC as an example, i.e. it's a broad question about how the FL applies its regulations. It isn't even necessarily something that is within Vince Cable's gift to change as he has stated in his response:

As a Parliamentary Question so it has a target to be answered within 20 working days. The two MPs have had to ask in a broad sense as Cable has no real business in CCFC's affairs.

Maybe you had read them but it is a pity you saw fit to misquote Jim Cunningham's question to support your response this time. For the avoidance of doubt, here it is again:

Will the Secretary of State get together with the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport to have a look at the way in which the Football League applies its regulations to private ownership of football clubs, because there is a diabolical mess at Coventry at the moment?

If you accept the present regime , be men ,come out and say it rather than knock every action ,protest , organisation or idea set up to hasten their downfall. Im pissed off ! The heats getting to me and i think ive spelt alegedly wrong does that leave me open to be sued

I'm foning the Grammer Polise right this minute! Bad speling isn't aloud! :D

What ever you do, don't tell him you are a sky blue fan, but a concerned football fan that is seeing clubs ripped apart by rogue elements involved in footballing business, including money laundering , asset stripping and tax avoidance. Just mention the sky blues as an example.

I'm sure he will get lots of sky blue fans sending email, but his ears may prick up if it is from a neutral football fan supporting say Stockport ... hint! hint!

Not a bad idea that. Mind you, its not going to be an easy meeting so how much opportunity there is for general chat remains to be seen..........

This ..... bla bla ..... laughable

Mate, you need to chill a bit. You do make a few good points, but it gets lost in the bile. If you could only tone it down and stop with the abuse, you might get a few supporters.

Would be interested to know what your back story is with the Trust. Sounds like something's gone on for you to be so full of hate.

A significant move. Remember the parting shot from the football league after announcing the ground share was to implore all sides sort this out a.s.a.p. After the sports minister talks with the FL and sisu still refuse to talk I expect the FL to re-look at their decision. Would sisu sue, perhaps but with Government involvement and just requesting talks not agreements that would be tough for any brief to defend.

Agreed, what happened.. at the moment psgm1 comes over sometimes as having some good points then as a raving looney with a grudge that has no rational explanation..

People should not underestimate the significance of this issue being raised (repeatedly) in Parliament. That will not sit well with SISU and will make them very uncomfortable, as it should, and should also focus the attention of FL and FA. The next target must now be PMQs - that will have more impact than 20 fan protests in my opinion.

Coventry is an example. The question is to review the way in which the Football League applies its regulations (which isn't anything to do with the Secretary of State for BIS).

Insolvency and administration law is part of his remit though. I tend to agree with previous posts that this kind of talk won't make any difference to our present situation but if it stops another club having to go through this in the future then im all for it.
