Parking near leekes (3 Viewers)

Has anyone been unfortunate today to have a parking
Fine parking around leekes industrial estate.
I have been parking there since the ricoh has going with no problems.
after the game all the cars had tickets in that area.
I have to find somewhere new to park, from that side of M6 if preferable.
Any ideas?

Parking Fine!

I too also got a parking fine! I have been parking in that area for two seasons now, and when I saw the new signs go up during the Olympics, I even asked a police officer on match day duty whether they were in force. He said that until appropriate road markings such as single yellow lines are placed in affected areas, no parking restriction can be enforced! Does anyone know whether there are good grounds to appeal against the fine imposed? Has anyone done so successfully?

I had one once on the grass by the bull and anchor. Didn't contest as it would have cost me more in fees but I think it is private property owned by the bull and anchor and never had one since or seen anybody with one. Must have just been dickhead police bored that day!
