Can’t believe some think Palmer is even remotely a miss. Inconsistent, lightweight and ineffectual. And they were his good points.

Nobody is saying he would trouble the first IX but he did offer a bit of chaos and unpredictability with his play. Something we don't have since him and O'Hare left.

We can do better but it's poor we have a replacement lined up

He would be good to have as bench option

can actually thread a killer pass unlike anyone we currently have

Did you not see Sakamoto's assist on Saturday? I swear if that was Palmer there would be a constant stream of what a genius he is.

He has 17 assists in over 200 Championship games. O’Hare who was criticised for end product has more in 70 odd less games.

The best summary of him was on the NLS - he’d be a great player if football wasn’t about results

Sakamoto’s pass to EMC is an early contender for assist of the season.

I really want to see a front 3 of EMC, Simms and Sakamoto. Some of the crosses both wingers put in would be more suited for Simms style of play and after FL’s comments about Simms, he may start v Millwall.

Personally I miss him as an impact player, but he's gone & the manner in which he left was a bit... rubbish to say the least.

I live near Hull and speak to Hull city fans a fair bit, every single one I've spoken to haven't had much good to say about him and his form.

When wrights back Prefer wright simms and sakamoto, but Iif EMC keeps improving like he is could swap simms for wright. In a few weeks our front 3 options will be wright/emc. Bassette / simms. Saka/ Raphael, that’s some quality, just need to sort us out defensively and we’ll be ok

Palmer had moments in games where he was class, just wasn’t consistent enough, prob the same reason he’s not playing for hull, i think he thought he was better than what he actually was

So glad we’ve only got players who are never class now. Much more consistent.

thats the spirit we’ve got class players, just needs one result to turn it around, if I remember correctly it was milwall away about this time last year, we‘ll be fine, keep the faith

Last I’ve heard/seen, Wright will be back in the new year so there’s a good block of 6/7 games without him.

In that time, we need to be getting some form in the players so we can ease Wright back in a bit. I’d quite like to see Wright upfront for a stretch if EMC and Sakamoto are in form. In the longer term, I believe it’ll be an EMC-Simms-Wright front 3 unless further signings come.

And you can add Raphael to that soon, he’ll be pushing saka for a start, we’ll have quality options up front it’s just everywhere else

Don’t like presents, sometimes they’re good, sometimes they’re not. Grocery shopping is much better, know what you’re getting.
