Says the one trying to prove Simms is good because of his "could've been" goals?

When the title trophy is being handed to Ipswich on the final day though, bully's speacial prize, and Simms with his bucket full of missed sitters but his high xG, here's what you couldve won!

Simms according to those stats has the 10th best goals per 90 minutes played, this is mad.

Im not replacing him with anyone. Im just saying I dont think it'd be a bad signing if and when FL decides to. It may never happen, and if it doesnt, he clearly hasnt shown enough in training. But if FL and the team think he's good enough and he adds something different, then im not gonna sit on here and write him off before he's even kicked a ball like a lot are!

Ive stated reasons for why I think he would be a good edition. Whilst others are bending over backwards to write him off before he's even signed. And in doing so, trying to make out Simms is prime fucking Messi

That’s the point! The BBC falls into that bracket nicely, but for some reason you seem to think that it still is a trusted respected broadcaster/news service.

I’m just reporting the data, you’re the one with a weird chip on your shoulder. Go on name all the better and more trusted sources we’re waiting. Or were you just trying to be edgy and have ended up looking a twat?

Had a meltdown? When you showed me how many chances Simms actually misses?

His usual go to when he's not getting his way is to make out the other person has "embarrassed" themselves, or had a "meltdown"

If Bamford does get a short-term deal, I'm not going to bet against there being a moment like Paterson last season where he come on with 10 minutes to go, scores and gets us 3 points. Football is a fairy tale sometimes!

And it might be that last minute winner that makes the difference between play-offs and autos. He might have no impact at all, but as I said higher, Lampard hasn't got much wrong so far and he's the one seeing him in training, knows Bamford, knows his level and the rest of the squad. His call and I'm 100% behind his decision whichever way that goes.

No doubt his best days are behind him but my word he is nowhere near as bad as being made out by some on here

There was a time when Bielsa was Leeds manager he looked a very good technical footballer and knocked in 17 Premier League goals in a season - Not saying he is gonna be anywhere near those levels if he does come to us but it is a low-risk signing that could work out and if it doesn't he is gone in May anyway - If Frank rates him then we should give him a chance

One thing for certain as frank as said time and again if he does sign you know he's been putting in 100% in training and must be showing a really positive attitude

Just having Bamford around the squad is a positive. A player who has been promoted and won the championship multiple times. Has played and scored in the Prem.

Yes he had a bit of a horror show last season. Mainly due to camos after his injury.

But having a player training and gelling with the squad surely is a positive. Has can get him self fit why we are not paying him and prove his worth.

His xG is double his actual goals. So he's missed 2, and scored 2. Not exactly pulling up fucking trees is he? A tap in at the back post v Wednesday and a free header under the bar v Millwall. Anybody on this forum could've scored them 2 chances. Them stats prove fuck all! He misses more chances than he puts away, and only puts away if its on a plate for him.

He's plated about 4.5 games if you add his total minutes up

Also the stats don't show he misses more chances than he puts away, It's not my fault you don't understand them

England international as well, but WBA also being mentioned on their websites on 'pay as you play' type deal. That would really work for us, if we could agree that type of contract.

West Brom tipped to sign Patrick Bamford on 'pay as-you-play deal' to revive Championship promotion bid

Former Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford left the Whites by mutual agreement in the summer, as West Brom could be his next club.

While David can indeed get a bit insulting when you disagree with him on here, you've got a hell of a nerve calling anyone else on here abusive. You're always calling people names and abusing them in posts because you so desperately want to ape your hero Trump, who also does it all the time. Only you somehow manage to be even less intelligent than him.

As for Bamford, if we sign him we sign him. Personally don't think it's a position we need to expend extra wages on at this stage. There might be a case if he was able to play as an AM alternative to Rudi, but would a 32yo really have that mobility and pace? BTA is playing perfectly fine as a support striker.

We could make worse signings. We could also make better ones.

Stop talking so much sense! Hes shit, and old, and past it, and wayyyy too expensive.

The same people already writing off Bamford were probably the same people that wrote off Vardy as too old, who is still churning out 90 mins week-in week-out. And probably the same people that said Moore was a carthorse right before he put a perfect hat-trick past us!

If Lamps thinks he can add something and can find a deal, then im fully behind him! If he doesnt, then it wont happen!

He'd never agree that here - at WBA he stands a decent chance of getting starts once fit, their current striker only has 2 goals. He'd be unlikely to start much at all for us.

People trust Lampard they’re just saying that having played x games in the top flight alone doesn’t mean he’s a good signing right now.

To be fair, that's just fans saying they should sign him, nothing from WBA (the club itself) about signing him so I don't think there's interest.

SportsBoom are reporting that we're in talks on a contract with wages and contract length to be agreed, then it's a done deal.
