Id put money on it, the cross from Saka v Pompey that Simms spoons wide, that sort of chance falls to Bamford, he buries it. We were crying out for that in the last 10 minutes against Portsmouth, and for most of the second half against Oxford.
His goal scoring isnt an issue as he would be tasked with winning the ball and laying it off to BTA or Sakamoto/EMC

Simms has really impressed me this season, but in all honesty, if its a job off the bench to come on and hold the ball up, be big and bully defenders, Bamford is the better of the 2. More experience, more games, more goals. Plus he's been promoted from this league so will be invaluable in the changing room alongside Woolf.
