Bad game management mate , why not tighten us up and go 2 banks of 4 and wether the storm rather than stay wide open ?

We are protecting a lead but we threw it all away .. sill second half so poor from lanpard

When it’s 2-1 I agree. I’d have done Saka and maybe even Brau and Sheaf if you want to hold on. Once it’s 2-2 we’ve just got nothing to chase a game if the first XI isn’t working. We’re clearly going for a score one more than you strategy, I’m not sure we are built for weathering storms.

Poor game management by FL. Needed to get subs in sooner and change things up when momentum started to shift.

Really was a game of 2 halves. Frustrating to concede in the manor we did. Find the game management from Lampard almost stubborn at times. Grimes and Torp were both limping for a while, wingers were anonymous for the latter part of the half. Would have thought Sakamoto had more minutes in him than that if he made the bench. Unlucky from Wright there at the end, slightly leaning back on it.

Positives, we look so much better going forward if we can be more clinical, then even better. They look like there is a lot more fight in them so far this season, these are the types of games we were going on to lose at this point a year ago.
Goal scoring records being broken.
Still unbeaten in the league, it took us 8 games to get to 8 points last season.

We looked tired in that second half . Drained , subs was needed earlier in my opinion. We can’t leave it until the 85th minute for any player to make an impact. Norwich will beat us next week I hate to say . ( in my opinion)

A team with a defence this poor do not end up in the top 6, never has never will.
But it’s early days and we need the management to sort it out before we lose to much ground, losing a bit of confidence in Rushworth he should be more vocal and command his area

Couldn’t agree more, you look at our bench and there’s hardly anyone on their (apart from Saka) that I think will turn a game around. It’s full of back-ups and like-for-likes rather than alternatives or game-changers. Obvs not every bench in this league is going to be full of game-changing players but there’s very little on our bench that excites me.
You're not saying players like Allen aren't good enough? What are you suggesting? Better players? The likes of O'Hare (or similar) to become squad/rotation players? That can't be right? We can't have good players on the bench. We're only coventry city! We should look at improvement players for the bench (like Rapha, Andrews and Brau) and then not use them!

Not read every post, but not sure people are losing their shit.

Calling out poor performances, a keeper who has not covered himself in glory at all (and whom we were willing to pay £5m for) and a bizarre lack of changes is entirely justified.

Doesn’t meant anyone is FL out etc etc etc.

As the first half showed, and QPR last week too, we are clearly capable of being an excellent team at this level when we play at our full capacity. It’s on the manager to figure out how to get us playing like that for as long as possible in games and to adapt when the opposition change it up. Still, early days and 8 points from the first 4 isn’t too bad going.

I know it sounds a cliche but it was a game of 2 half’s , we looked fantastic first half .
Emc should of been subbed earlier

Love the guy to bits but Lampard has to take a large portion of the blame there. Midfield was gassed and crying out for some legs but he keeps Grimes out there when he’s off his feet. Bobby with a couple of brain farts (again), a calmer head is needed at the back when we play away from home and under pressure.

He’s been superb this season and not the main culprit in the second half today. Bit of a random target.
He was poor first half v Derby but then popped up with 2 assists and a long throw so it was glossed over.
And he's the main target today because of all the players that had an off game, he was the only one who had a like for like, good enough, fit enough, replacement sat on the bench. BTA had Saka but he clearly wasn't fit enough. Of everyone else who had a poor 2nd half, there were no immediate swaps. KKH was and is the like for like replacement. The only position we could make a sub change atm and improve or at least stay the same, is RB. Yet that change wasnt made. Why?

So its not a dig at MVE, its a dig at Lampard for not making the only change on the bench that doesn't immediately weaken us as an 11.
