So I emailed the football league in regards to all the current ownership changes and issues. Basically enquiring with them as to what they know and whether they deem it necessary to investigate. This is the second email I've sent this season in regards to ownership and probably a better response than what I recieved last time. Have a little look see.

Thank you for your email.

The Football League’s Owners’ and Directors’ Test requires all directors to confirm that there are no “dual associations” within the meaning of our regulations. At this time, based on the information we have been supplied with we believe the Club is compliant in that respect.

We are unable to comment further on the issues of ownership by virtue of the fact that any discussions between The League and any Club are confidential.

However, we remain committed to seeking to ensure our Clubs remain compliant at all times.

In reference to the Owners’ and Directors’ Test please view Appendix IV available on our website here http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20110629/appendix-4_2293633_2128219.

In addition please find an FAQ regarding the Owners and Directors Test which you may find useful http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/FAQ/FAQsDetail/0,,10794~2428071,00.html.

Thank you for contacting The Football League.

Well, its still a bit of a fob off but this bit implies to me that the League do have a few issues and are doing something...

"We are unable to comment further on the issues of ownership by virtue of the fact that any discussions between The League and any Club are confidential"

But I might be reading too deep!

Think that is more designed to stop more questions from us rather than any issues with ccfc

Have you read the FAQ's link Willie..... aside from being laughable in parts (they rely on people being honest! in self certification) I am not sure the Football League follow their rules through- surely all the investors in Sconset are acting in concert to achieve more than 30% control? so all should be self certificating not hiding behind SISU

I posted this on another thread, but I've copied it here as it is a more appropriate home.

Damian Collins MP, responded to an email I sent him and said:

The Government has proposed that in the future all financial interests in football clubs should be declared, and I would certainly support that. Fans have the right to know who owns or has a stake in their club.

The football authorities have been asked to consider this and give their response by the end of February. If they are not prepared to make this change to their rules then I would certainly support legislation in parliament to make this compulsory.

I think this means, "nothing happening soon, the FA will say there're happy & the govenment may legistate the year after, especially if they think it would be a popular policy"

it certainly isn't automated because its so much different to the one I recieved last time.

And I wouldn't say this was a pointless thread even if it was automated. It is interesting to some what stance the football league have on our plight.
